Anyone turned their heating on today?


Sitting here freezing and gave in and turned it on.


Rain !!!!ing down.


I had it on on Tuesday night as well. Cost 35p for 5 hours according to my smart meter.
over 73 but not over the hill.

    I refuse to - it's summer!
    If OH is cold, she can switch the electric blanket on!

    Had my wood burner lit for the last 3 nights...........
    Off to Spain tomorrow 36 degree C for the next 10 days at least !!
    Probably for the next 3 months actually.........

    Trying hard not to so tempting but phycologically it's wrong late June, going to have a walk in and bit and then it will feel warm when we get back in

    its 22C in my room, its june, even a cold june day doesnt merit heating, but I guess you guys have a real intolerance to cool weather.

    Outside its 16C, what I would consider cool weather but not cold.

    Sadly no rain. Need some to freshen up the air.

    Been pouring down for the last two days here in the south West. Managed to keep the heat off as bedroom temp 22deg c. I think the persistent rain makes you believe it's colder than it is, that's my excuse for keeping the heat off anyway.

    Do you still switchheating on and off and not use a thermostat? You can get portable wireless ones for not very much theses days. Just keep it in bedroom and set for a comfortable you will never be too cold what ever the season or outside temperature.
