Was planning a NSD yesterday but my headphones broke and OH also ran out of tea, milk and sugar (obviously the worst thing ever ;)) so a few spends.

Yesterday I was grateful for getting out of work on time, sunbathing in the garden after work, yummy salad for tea and watching the new GOT episode.

New washing machine arrived late yesterday afternoon so I'm powering through the backlog Two loads drying on the limited amount of washing line available and another in the machine,
We're going for a walk this morning before the thunder arrives and then lots of jobs to do around the house. C is going to help me with these. He still hasn't had a drink and is continuing to eat properly and go to bed early although he says he is having difficulty sleeping. Could that be because of alcohol withdrawal?
So, also racking up the NSDs and not spending too much. Fingers crossed that I can keep it up.
    Have a good day, everyone.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Hi guys
    Hope you're all well
I'm determined to have at least 3 more NSDs this week
My online shop arrived yesterday so fridge and freezer are both full.
One of my aims is more veg meals and less meat so I'm making veg chilli for tea ( with the spare going in the freezer)
One thing I find is that when I need to buy milk I never come home with just milk so I've put some in the freezer to save venturing into the shops until absolutely necessary. Also I've bought extra frozen veg. So we shall see how this goes.
Weather permitting I'm going to take myself out for a walk. I don't mind rain but the weather man has predicted thunder and lightening later and I draw the line at going out in that.
Hugs to all that need them.

Toni'sfriend so glad that things are going well.

Can confirm that medical expenses do not spoil a NSD - will even stretch that to buying a drink, if you need it to swallow your pills and are not at home/ work or run out of the drinks you took out with you.

Couldn't log in last night but no problems this morning (so far). Had to do mum's shopping delivery from my house (just found out the email address I was given is totally wrong). Hospital visit yesterday morning - more not great news. Not life threatening but won't help mum's quality of life. Some of her food is trickling into her lungs, lung are damaged and it won't be possible to 'get rid' of this batch of ailments - more p[ills and more visits to help 'manage' them.

Went through more photographs yesterday. Completed work on partner's family photos - was going to put the 'weddings' (three of them are divorced from those partners and one is planning her second wedding next year) in a seperate little album and attempt soe sort of order, but they were so mixed up I gave up. I suggested a long time ago that they date the photos and add the names and ages of the children on the photos to be made into an album for Mum's partner, to help him remember them as long as possible. they didn't bother and now he doesn't know who any of them are. Tidied it all as much as possible and got lots more into the box (which I also repaired).

Our family photos are still to do but are divided into little sections so should be a lot easier. Bins went out, my bins went out, did a little crafting/tidy up but was falling asleep.

Set alarm for 7.30am (food delivery). Took mum's round to her, had breakfast. Have been given correct e-mail address, quick lesson in using the slow cooker, opened the post - I have got mum the single occupant discount but they have put her back onto cash payments, so will try to get that back on a standing order.

Walked back along the canal bank, lots of birds and butterflies, interesting leaves plus walkers and cyclists (all of whom said hello).

Going to have a bath and do more tidying before crafts.

Yesterday counting as SFD as foot treatment medical ? Too painful to walk whereas springing about today. I will get half the cost back from medicash anyway.

Still no rain here yet, glad I watering mine and friends gardens last night now.

Not planning on spending any money today. Need all my pennies for relative invasion at the weekend. Just need to find out how long the invasion is going to last as probably need some more food in.

    Grateful for
    Really good nights sleep
    Healthy feet, lots of walking
Nicer atmosphere in office bosses are now speaking to each other (kids they are)

    Hello,

no SFD today. Gave in and bought a bottle of fizzy juice as I couldn't face stale water. Also bought a new sports watch but only paid £8 as the rest came from vouchers.

Run, done. HM lunch, tick. Tonight will be pasta with chicken and chorizo. Saving quite a bit of food this week as DH has team building week at work and they get lunch and twice dinner this week.

    Afternoon everyone,

Hope all are well. I've not had a chance to read the last few pages of the thread will try and catch up tonight. I've made a bit of progress on this months goals as follows:

Have 12 NSDs - had a NSD yesterday and am now up to 4.
Buy new clothes etc for return to work – budget £150 - had a browse round the shops on Sun/Mun was sorely disappointed. Ended up only buying a cardigan, two packet of tights, boots, pumps, a bag and a new purse bringing my spends up to £103.46.
Batch cook meals for the little one before my return to work - have filled my freezer with soup, curry, sandwich/baked potato filler and pasta today.
Take part in the £10 a day challenge – target is £155 - now up to £99.60 thanks to all the survey sites.
Walk wherever I am going whenever possible - Not done much of this since my last post but today I joined the council leisure club on a pay as you go basis. My mum sometimes takes the little one and I'll try to fit in a fitness class whilst he's with her. I went to legs, bums and tums and Zumba a few years ago and enjoyed them. Would quite like to try Aqua Aerobics too :)
Start de-cluttering and organising my flat rather than just saying I’m going to do it! - have returned my last remaining library books, binned the little ones birthday balloons and moved some stuff off the sofa into their appropriate places.

Had to spend today - DH out of muesli and Pepsi Max! I also needed some salad stuff and some mozzarella to make pizza.

Why is it I always need to buy new ingredients to use up old ones? Pizza base and frozen pizza sauce ice cubes had been in there for donkeys years, and I mucked up making mini tarts earlier in the week so had the chorizo and red onion filling needing using. Happily wolfed by DH

I've just had SS and scrambled eggs with a l/over roll which has been lurking and the last of a sorry handful of spinach.

Prepped lunch and dinner for tomorrow. About to do breakfast.

I need to work out how to prep 2-3 days worth at once, it would be much more efficient.

Today I am grateful for the bus route that takes us from home directly to the hospital (do not pass GO, do not collect £200), for dd's appointment going super quickly and smoothly, for dd's ongoing interest in photography, for fresh raspberries and apples to stew together, for getting some sewing work done, for getting a £5 off £30 voucher to use in liddle, for doing shred #15, for stepdd + gson both doing well.
