Just logged on expecting to find a long list of posts but it's been very quiet. Grabbing a bit of lunch, then I'm going to spend HH sorting some papers that I've just retrieved from behind the piano. I do clean, honest!
So far today, I have WM x 2. 1 lot is on the line as we haven't yet seen any of the promised rain for weeks now. 2nd lot just finishing and will join it shortly outside. LR and DR dusted and tidied, then vacc'd. I think we have an infestation of something in the dining room, so I've pulled out stuff (of which there is way too much) to see what I can find. I think it might be carpet moths . Typically this is the only room downstairs with a carpet in it - and that was there when we moved in. Kitchen windows cleaned and floor mopped. Bathroom cleaned, but that was left over from last week, so it HAD to be done. And all the better when I am home alone as then nobody sneaks in as soon as I have cleaned.
I popped up to the allotment for an hour to weed, and came back 2 hours later. That wasn't in the plan.
WM just finished, so off to hang it outside.

    Hello!

I'm here - just hiding from the decorator ;)

Living room is sorted, as is conservatory (well, as best it can be with all the carp in there!), DR cleared and table pulled out for later. Car gone for MOT and I have MILs car which is a bit scary, lol. Mine went earlier than expected and DD has rehearsal tonight so needed transport. I'm very grateful for the loan!

Very wet here, and apparently emulsion is underway as I've been asked for tin #1  going to sneak a peek in a mo under the pretence of putting the kettle on lol.

Volunteering app done, bit more work done, few phone calls made. So far so good!

Hi there. Back from the hospital - DH's finger doing ok.

This afternoon I have to finish my tax return. I'm due a refund and that will definitely come in handy as there is no sign of my outstanding salary. ACAS now dealing with that.

Hopefully I will be able to pick up some work next month. I seem to be achieving nothing at home so am just eating crap and watching the world go by.

Ooo-err although it's wet paint so a bit darker I do like it! Seem to think they might get another coat on today as it's warm enough to dry downstairs while upstairs is done :T

Afternoon all. I'm in again, late as always, thanks for the list.

Before the paid stuff the last two days I have kept up with the dailies, caught up with some outstanding jobs from the weekend and done some of today's list.

After bathing the dogs this morning, I now really need to clean the bathroom, S&S not enough. However, this evening I am going to walk the dogs, eat, and spend some MAD half hours in the garden.

    Have a great evening everyone.

    Thanks for the lists!

Level 2 managed yesterday and level 3 today. Just time for a cuppa before a trip to the recycling centre and pregnancy swimming, then going to clean out an almost new coffee machine we've been gifted by one of OHs friends :money: and set that up tonight.

Am not even in lurk mode - still massively busy with work and then falling into bed on an evening after kids activities/ bedtimes and a minimal amount of washing and ironing. Exam season ends this week, though, so I should be back and attempting to fly again next week x

    Evening all,
and welcome to Cheeky and Trinity  I hope you got the gas issue sorted out Iona.
Had a bit of a blow today as the one class that I take DD to, the one fixed thing in my whole week is ending. The teacher of the class is leaving for another job, and while someone else is taking over they're not going to be able to run the toddlers class as they won't have had the training in time to run the class in Sept. So it's either finish the class entirely, or move to a class in another town. While I'm pleased for the teacher as we do get on, it's knocked me sideways and sent my anxiety levels skyrocketing.

Which has resulted in a certain lack of motivation for flying. Managed to get a MAD h/h done pulling up weeds in the front garden, and have defeated the washing up mountain (entailed 2 bowls of clean water, the towel and tea towel out on the sides to create enough 'draining' room  )

Oh yes, I paid attention in class today :D - however, as I am yet to complete any of the homework set over the past eight weeks, I'd better pull my finger out as Miss wants our books in next week

Small scale flying - cane toad that was my paperwork pile is no more and a food cupboard sorted in the search for some soba noodles. Forget which room it was today, but I've played dot-to-dot and everywhere looks a little better.

Glad hubby's finger is healing FBO. Not sure if I've missed why you are no longer working but sending support if ACAS are involved as their advice is rarely needed with amicable situations. Years ago I had to take an employer to tribunal and ACAS were very helpful, so hoping they are the same for you.

Waving a warm hello to the new ladies

And finally it is raining! Although at this rate it will take 3 months to refill the water butts. Every little helps, so they say.
Smoke etc alarms tested (thanks, Valli for that reminder), cards for July bought, and 2 cards posted while I was out. Dinner cooked and kitchen re-tidied. MAD HH spent on flinging / shredding old paperwork, and sorting out magazines. I think a bedroom drawer or 2 will be on the MAD list for tomorrow.

No idea what you are saying, Dizzy, but I'm dead impressed:)
