    Posivibes for YSL's DS1.

Ok so I was a bit optimistic, everything I planned is done except the downstairs loo.

See you all later. Paid stuff beckons - end of temporary contract, new one starts on Monday, but I want to get a head start.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning,

Well my one hour and five minutes of action yesterday turned to nothing as we had to pick my car up from the garage before school pickup. Then it was swimming, then feed everyone, then bed. Hmm. On a positive note, the girlies both got very good school reports:)

    Today I must:

    Get new phone
    Riding at 12.00
Do menu plan and food shop
Find mouse traps (oh dear oh dear :()
    Washer on
    HHI
    DW on
    Clear table and work tops
Anything I can from lists as house is a grotty dump.

    ATB well done!
Posi-vibes heading over your way, YL

Right, I shall report back later with amazing progress xx

    Morning All

Thanks ladies, still feeling mightily chuffed with myself

YL - Positive job-getting vibes aplenty for your DS lovely xx

Well I have lost my voice completely :D rather than being frustrated I find it liberating. Haven't had to make small talk in the playground ;)

    So far today:

    - DD taken to school (DS home with me today)
    - Angry letter sent recorded delivery to tax credits
    - Chemist trip - dosed myself up
    - Aldi small top up shop
    - WM, DW and TD all x1. Need to do a laundry shuffle now, then poo pick.

It's still persisting it down here so no plans to go anywhere other than school run again later.

Also need to do yet more work for DH business. MAD Half hour 10.30-11 anyone? x

Ended up doing a MAD hour! All laundry dealt with, poo picked, beds made, lunch made, piles of kibble re-homed and Direct debit changed for mobile phone. Now for a cuppa! x

  • I'm feeling mighty chuffed with myself. Taken the children out to playgroup this morning while oh was at a job interview. Apparently it's between him and someone else they are interviewing this afternoon so fingers crossed! And this afternoon I have done all the bathroom tasks except wipe the inside of the cupboard and I've only scrubbed the top half of the bath because the bottom is busy bathing the bath toys with Milton. Will finish that scrub later. Bathroom looks much better!

Not a whole lot of flying happened here today. Did manage to give the dining room chairs a scrub to try and get rid of the mucky marks, it'd be so much easier if the covers were removable.

Also made it out to 'the orange shop' as my DD calls it (aka a certain diy store) and picked up 3 individual plants and 2 mixed bedding multipacks for £5 from the clearance section.

Getting job vibes for ds1 YL X

    House vaccummed
    Airing cupboard dealt with
    Ironing done
Towels washed dried inside due to the new non stop rain

Ds1 has been for a haircut and has changed his bed

Mad time was spent cleaning in the shed again. Then putting up fairy lights in there. It is now half finished. I need to use the paint I have stored in there before I can complete the task.

Roses deadheaded and a few plants tied up.

    Evening!

    Good job vibes for YL
    High 5 for ATB

Beggar all done here. Been out most of day as kids off school - and decorator glossing. Not a good combination! So we went trampolining then out of lunch. Short step back home then out again to gymnastics and football. They'll sleep tonight lol (and me!).

My dinner is some dry shredded wheat which I'm sat here crunching (I know, I'm odd) and boy piggie heard me (I'm sat in the conservatory with the them)and shuffled over sniffing in the air. I held one down for him to sniff and he snatched it and ran away:rotfl: so of course girl pig ran after to see what was happening, then she came sniffing. So they are now eating my bite size shredded wheat lol. Who knew? I did clean out the pen this morning, but you wouldn't think so now...

    Evening all.
Not a lot to report after this morning's frenzied start. Dinner and the usual tidy up done. DW finished, I'll unload it first thing in the morning. WM loaded, ready in waiting. I did manage a MAD HH on paperwork. While I didn't finish it (I'm not entirely sure how it manages to multiply so fast..), I did make a dent in it and ticked off a couple of urgent bits.

Currently watching a hedgehog snuffle around the back garden....

Bossy - the piggies sound hilarious!

Bossy, on the rare occasions I have ended up with ood non-sugary cereal I offer it to Benny Bunny. He loves weetabix!

House tip as Valligirl has come home for the summer with ALL her stuff.

She has had a leaving gift...either she let on about something she's mad about or that stalked her on Facebook! She's chuffed!
