    Hi

Can you get a picture of the dish using a zoom on a camera.

If so does anything look like anything here... http://www.radioandtelly.co.uk/lnb.html
OR sat cure.co.uk why sat cure has to be split into 2 words to avoid the bad word filter is beyond me

  • Thanks for your replies once again .
John dough : the design on my dish , is a little different .
( I don't know how to post pics on this forum )
The design I have, is where the 'arm ' comes from the bottom of the front of the dish . There is a square glass type thing in the middle of that . The wires have been disconnected .

There is a sky dish in the flat above, so I assume the that this dish is mine ( or the previous people prior to me ) .

    Thanks
  • These will be of no use if you all you lack is a physical connection to a dish.

Call a local CAT registered installer...

I did this , and found lots of sites about...cats :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Thanks again david :)
I have Netflix . The reason why I want to go freesat is because I used to have Bt vision ( you view box ). As I'm no longer with Bt , I decided to use Vodafone ( my mobile provider) as my broadband provider.
I just want a quick and easy solution to watching 'normal ' free tv with as many free channels as possible , recording whenever required .I don't mind paying the prices you mentioned if that is the case.
I'll give the freesat helpline a ring , if they haven't responded to my email( with pics :) )
My mindset is: tv / Apple TV / music .
The annoying thing is there are too many remotes !:)

the freesat helpline cannot help you with your dish, if you cannot physically access your dish get a CAI installer its your only option.
