They still can - assuming that their PO hasn't been closed - but they no longer get an actual disc to put in the windscreen.0 -
I've still got the expired tax disc in the car. There's no reason to remove it, so I haven't.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Irony ... one thing that bugs me is when there is a "discussion" going on, say online... about anything.
Then somebody, completely out of the blue posts about being stunned by the negativity posted. I look back, I can see no negativity.
They'll then come out with statements like not being childish, and about pointless comments ... and calls other posts rubbish.
Now ... in my eyes that's somebody seeing negativity where it doesn't exist. It's simply people having a chat about the link. Then they are trying to "be a leader" and rally support around themselves when - in fact - THEY have made the only "negative" comment ... and, within 10 minutes, you can bet your bottom dollar others have replied with phrases like "keyboard warriors" and "ignorance".
e.g. say if a newspaper had reported the local wool shop was moving down 2 doors - and some people had reponded to a link to that story by saying "I go in there", "I don't go in there, I get my wool up the road", "I used to go there but they don't sell double knit any more" and "I wish they were open Wednesdays too".
*shrugs*
I just don't get it.
And you can't say "Hey - there's nothing negative there..... you're saying people are negative and yet your post appears to be the only negative one present. Wind your neck in"... but you have to stay quiet as you've no wish to engage in a post with such "negative people"0 -
I was quite amused to read that KPMG, as administrators of Patisserie Valerie, think there could possibly be a claim against the company's auditors, Grant Thornton. However, there's a bit of incest going on:-
'KPMG said it would not be appropriate for it to consider whether Patisserie Valerie has a potential legal claim against Grant Thornton because Grant Thornton are also auditors to KPMG.'No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I’ve got a collection of tax discs. I used to put the new one in front of the old one and keep them as a stack building up in the car. When I changed cars someone said that one day they would be valuable, so I’ve kept them. Even indoors stuck at the back of a draw they do fade.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I now have new hair and new glasses...I almost feel (and look) human, I certainly look more management than general person which is handy as I am going on a training course next week (which is scary, I thought my time of professional training courses was over)
Joe has been offered a uni trip to either Malaysia, China or Japan for summer school. At the moment he is veering towards choosing China where he would get the chance to learn (some) Mandarin and immerse himself in the Chinese culture whilst staying and learning in a private university there for a short while.
Scary factoid of the day - tomorrow would have been my 29th wedding anniversary, boy that makes me feel old.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I have had those ocular migraines for over thity years or so. Mine are black and silver chevrons, zig zags. Lasts for about 30 or 40 minutes and I can't see to read or do anything requiring good vision. I have no idea what causes them. It could be stress related in my case but would love to hear what others here think causes theirs.
Had no idea they could be related to high blood pressure, does anyone have a link to that?0 -
