The first question that sprang to mind with me wasn't either of those things, but why did she go home the next morning just wearing her underclothes?
Just why?
(Assuming she had been wearing any underclothes.)
Even if she'd had a coat as well. You'd think she would have noticed!
Plus, some mothers of grown-up sons can be quite young, and can also have very good figures! She might only have been 35!
You are making stereotypical assumptions!

She claimed to be wearing a tracksuit of the son's.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Shame ‘funny girl’ and mates don’t have parents that monitor phone usage. Why do 8 to 10 year olds need phones? Phones that can download apps that attract peedos! That they think is a game???
Good luck with the move, Masomnia and welcome (back?) to inner Herts. Are you going to be commuting?
I work in Inner Herts but not lived here before, so it will be a nice new experience
It will only be a short journey to work so it couldn't be better. It's easy enough to commute into London so when and if I move jobs it's perfect. “I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Good luck with the move! And I hope you get good weather!
It did take a long time, didn't it?
You want to watch out for those NPs, you know! :rotfl:
Thanks! Weather not looking good unfortunately
Never mind. I'm not going to be doing too much moving tomorrow, mainly just picking p keys and doing admin-y stuff I think. “I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Weather not looking good unfortunately
First thing this morning, two "headlines" that caught my attention, but I felt "informed enough, so no point clicking/reading" were:
1/ Snow's coming.
2/ Oooh it's going to be balmy.
Never believe weather
I bet if I'd clicked them both, they'd have probably said "Scotland" ..... but the DM doesn't make money from giving information in headlines does it.

Had gum/toothache for 2 weeks now, that's refusing to go away ... so finally phoned the dentist

It's nice he could fit me in ..... so quickly ..... but think of me in 3-4 hours' time when I'll no doubt be faced with a pretty awful diagnosis that involves drilling/cutting or something hideous

Sending you The Vibes for a session that is as pleasant as possible. I'm off to the hygienist on Friday, followed by the dentist the following Friday. So have a fellow feeling for you. I'm expecting that I'll need work doing too. Will be thinking of you later on.

I'm doing opposite things, I've just booked another trip to Lincoln after only coming back from a couple of days there last week. This time it is for Joe's 21st birthday at the end of March as he doesn't have the social circle the other two have and he would have seen it in on his own in his room (not that he is bothered but it bothers me).
He likes me going up as it means he can try out new restaurants without doing a Billy no mates impression and speak to someone who understands his weirdness.
I'm still trying to get my head around how I could possibly have a youngest son who is going to be 21, where the hell did those years go?We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
