Have we got any Nice Teenagers getting A-level results today?
Nope but for the last 3 weeks we have lived on the world's quietest road but this morning their was activity again (we have a school on the road).
NP design question.
We are decorating the stairs and upstairs corridor. Walls are all white, skirtings and banisters are black gloss. Old doors are white gloss, new doors are brown stained wood. Downstairs hall has large white floor tiles.
What colour carpet for the stairs and landing? White would work except given the traffic I don't think it would stay beautiful and unmarked for long. Not really keen on black, I think it would be overpowering. Would a black and white and grey pattern work?I think....0 -
Googling there seems to be a huge risk of anything patterned looking extremely busy. Even something as simple as this looks pretty strident:

I have stripey.... they are nice, strangely. If asked before I had them ... they weren't on my radar.
I'd definitely have stripey again.0 -

Not this year.
My Cypriot friend has been admitted to Leeds College of Music though
Sorry I've not been around recently, I will catch up later on. I need to get some 'proper food' shortly (rather than living on coffee) then I'm finishing for the day.
Please don't quote below, will delete later:

MyHermes have apparently delivered our package to a safe place - 'an outbuilding' - the only outbuilding we have is the shed at the bottom of the garden which is not at all accessible without climbing over at least 2 neighbour's fences :eek:I think....0

Wow, brilliant news! A fantastic comment from the tutor and justification of all those years you've kept going, in spite of being told if wasn't possible.

Ever thought about writing a book?
I actually started writing one a while back, must get back to it!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

And hugs to you too, you never gave up.:A
I rather lost track of where he hopes to go? I'm sure he'll do brilliantly wherever it is.
