Got to go out in a couple of hours. Am taking a friend to her PIP assessment, so can't not. :(

It's not too bad here.... the road looks black again, rather than white, but there is more snow forecast just for when I'll be driving in it. :(

I don't have to go too far, luckily.

I think I'm getting more wimpish about these things. A few years ago I was having to tackle the M25, 100 miles from home, in all weathers twice a week, and now I'm mithering about going 5 miles! :o

It's one reason why I have kept on my very expensive full AA membership. I probably don't really need some of the features any more, but I have got some long-distance journeys coming up this year, and my car isn't as young as it was, so it would be playing into the hands of Fate to reduce my features now.

Not very MSE, but it is the price of peace of mind. In the past, when I did break down miles from home, once in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere, that AA man was worth his weight in gold, I was that scared.

Am I right that the ferals are not so bothersome at the moment? You don't mention them.

    It's sunny here today.

It's sunny now but about half an hour ago we had a heavy bout of snow which lasted for all of a minute....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

TV Tonight + something I stumbled across while looking for it.

BBC2 9pm tonight - another airing of They Shall Not Grow Old (film)

    And I found this:
The Last Survivors, aired 27 January.
"A landmark documentary about the last survivors of the Holocaust living in Britain today, as they reflect on their childhood and how it has affected the rest of their lives."

When I marketed MIL's house myself, having got fed up with agents faffing around, I just took some photos with my mobile phone. The one of the front of the house had the front door open. It was accidental, but it looked really welcoming, and I recommend it if you can get your agent to redo that photo.

I had 7 or 8 enquiries just in the 3 days before I took the advert down, so the amateur photos certainly were not putting people off.

I've seen all sorts as I've been building my list of things to look at for myself .... in my spreadsheet annotations and columns I even have a phrase of: "Pre-sold, sold the day it appeared" .... and I'll usually compare the address to find the previous listing, which I usually can... because, yes, it's been on for months before, been 'sold' for months and now suddenly "Here it is, new... oh look, you've missed it".
