Oh I don't know..... she could get a goat in, and have free milk as well!

A sheep or cow might be better - she's a tad averse to kids :rotfl:

    And free goat, er, pellets.
A nice Biblical plague of locusts might do it.
Some would say "Pharoah nuff", and some might think it wasn't crickets. . .

What with a goat and locusts, I think all Pastures' neighbours will be moving! :rotfl:

Great news Sue :T and I hope Joe is settling in now.

Pastures I hope the right house turns up very soon :)

DGD and her parents have started the dreaded "looking at secondary schools" thing. So far DGD has seen three, and has liked all of them. This is stressing her mother, so I pointed out that it would be far more of a problem if DGD had hated all of them :D They've only done evening visits so far though; I think there are a couple of morning ones next week, which should give a better idea of what they are like. These are the non-selective schools, then when the 11+ results come out they may possibly end up having to trek round grammar schools as well. I'm sure when DS did the 11+ in the 1990s, we didn't look at any schools until we knew whether he'd passed.

I remember it well. Very anxious time, always conscious that the decision we were making for DS1 would influence where DS2 went.

Ivy - He's settled a little more now but we have gone back to the 2 hour minimum daily calls again. I'd got used to not talking on my phone so much over the holidays!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

By the way, if any NP is into Stargate, there's a re-run of Stargate Universe starting on Monday on Pick at 5pm

    Starting right from the beginning.

No idea what your budget is, PN, nor if you'd consider moving a distance but I saw this one, 3 bed detached, conservatory, one and a half bowl sinks, no island in kitchen but private drive and garage all for 250K in a nice village 5 miles south of Notttingham with good bus routes.

Is there room for a gun turret though?

I've never been to Nottingham, it's all "oop north" :)

I won't be moving from where I am, I like the milder climate of the south coast (not the bl00dy wind though)

... they shouldn't have done that floor like that.... and that decking wins the Bodge of the Week award :)
