Did that make your autocarrot blow up? :rotfl::rotfl:

The spell checker went a bit berserk with the red squiggly lines underneath everything, but I'm on my laptop this evening, so no autocarrot in operation, I'm happy to say.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

It's interesting how when I type foreign words, autocarrot 'translates' them into English! :rotfl:

    That's sad. Wasn't your parent's fault.

The poor man loved her enough beyond his pain to send her a gift with love. I know that mental health awareness is far higher now than it was and people, like Zoe, can see that they were loved even if her partner couldn't find that love for himself. There's always another way of thinking about things and one can choose consciously to keep the little tap we all have than can pour love firmly on, instead of closing it off.

My mum died 15 years ago, a week before my 25th birthday. Doozer had bought us a trip to Paris as my birthday surprise which he had to reveal to me almost straight away. My only real regret from that time is that we cancelled it. She'd have wanted me to go.

God knows it hurts but we shouldn't deliberately deprive ourselves of love and experiences because of bad things that happen. We are the lucky ones to wake up every day. It's great to celebrate good anniversaries, not good to purposely turn off the tap for sad ones.

A friend's son was killed in a RTA about 18 months ago. On his anniversary, they toasted him with champagne at his grave and threw a big party. A wonderful chance for people to share love and friendship and keep his memory alive in the right way.

It would be my mum's 60th in April. I'm having my nails done and I will make sure I go out and celebrate for her.

Edit: As I typed I remembered that The Ivy is opening in Birmingham on that day and that the booking lines opened today at 10am. Guess what I just did! No doubt it will be fully booked within a few hours - that's serendipity right there.

I couldn't find anywhere that would show me that, unfortunately. I'm intrigued.

    Capital Letters
You should very rarely use ALL CAPITAL letters. Mixed upper and lower case letters create letter and word shapes that help us read more easily. The following word block puzzles illustrate how it is possible to figure out text using only the varying blocks of space that letters occupy. These are well-known English proverbs. See if you can figure out what they are.

Actually, thinking about that has made me realise that's a big part of how I manage to "read" small print when I haven't got my reading glasses with me. It's useless, however, for laundry care symbols on the labels on clothes, and for the times and temperatures on the instructions for cooking/nuking food, which is presumably why those are the things I usually struggle most with.

Brains are really really clever things. Much clever than we're aware of most of the time. :D

It originally took me a moment when I first saw it but then it leapt out to me. Great, isn't it?
