It's quite bitter out there. Sun's out, but it's cold... but I washed the bathroom mat as it was sunny and I thought "once the sun gets on it that'll dry".

When I took it out I wrung it out a bit ... but it was dripping a little... I slung it over the whirlygig ... and it's still frozen solid, even though the sun's been on it for 2 hours.

Oh well.... washing that was a great idea, that I got wrong :)

Looked like a "nice day for it" - sunny, very breezy - I thought it'd mostly dry off, especially as the sun hits that spot in the afternoon.

It's obviously colder out there than I'd judged it to be.

Well, they do freeze dry instant coffee, so it must work somehow :rotfl:

I got the measurements askew! Of course, arms don't grow out of the top of the head! A set of steps would be safer and could be kept in the second bedroom, perhaps.

    Or behind the wardrobe.
    Or even in a wardrobe.
Or on top of a wardrobe.

    Or under a bed.

Or, if you have one, a shed?

Or in your extension when it's built.

On top of a wardrobe wouldn't be a good place to store a set of steps, she'd need another set of steps to be able to reach them - which would themselves need somewhere to store ;)

I was thinking of tilting them over the edge of the top of the wardrobe from the side and then sliding them on.

Aluminium steps are light enough to do that.

So we can get them up there and then use the second set to get them down again....
    I think....

I don't actually own a wardrobe yet ... it's on the list of things to get at some point.

And that 2nd bedroom .... is the place where everything I want to keep is already dumped... on the floor as there's no furniture (or curtains) ... and I really must get in there and sort it all out one day...but you can't sort stuff out until you have somewhere to put it (e.g. furniture).

    :)

You must be a long lost relative!

The same height as me and I have the body length (only similarity) of Elle McPherson but the legs of a dachshund.

We must all be related, it's a family curse on dad's side to have a long body but short legs.

New to me laptop now, got it second hand today with specs which are light years away from my old one. I'm slowly getting used to it (or to be more specific, Windows 10) and have started the slow but quite enjoyable job of transferring all my music over.

    Speakers are amazing!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Just everyone spare a thought for Joe, he is 5ft nothing! Mind you, he does seem to have very long arms for his height as he can reach higher than I can...clearly demonstrated by his spider getting rid of ability but then that might be because I am hiding under the cover/behind the sofa/in the hallway whilst at the same time Josh is screaming like a little girl.
