I bought some of that fizzy pop Mr C recommended as being like my favourite. Tried the first glass and not convinced. The bubbles aren't "as bright/sharp" and the taste is a little more "syrupy".... but I'll see how it goes when it's colder (from the fridge) and as I adjust to the taste.
At 42p/2 litres it had to be tried... but I don't expect it'll become a favourite. It'd be nice if I were wrong and warmed to it .... cheaper too.
EDIT: Had two lots now, still feeling the same. The bubbles in this don't "cut through"; drinking PMax is like a fast/fizzy "cleansing" effervescence in the mouth. This "is just some fizzy drink". PMax feels like it's "stripping your mouth/throat entirely clean" when you drink it...0 -

Well, if the cheap one is 42p for 2l and cleans the loo well, it might be cheaper than loo cleaner!
I'll go and check......
Edit.... a basic toilet duck is about £1.87 for 1litre, so at 42p for 2litres, that cheap Pepsi might be a good deal.
Only if it cleans the loo well, though.
It's a shame your pmax can't clean the loo after you've drunk it, IYSWIM :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)

It's got so humid I needed to switch my aircon machine on.
It was supposed to rain today, but it hasn't. I think it might be building up for a thunder storm though.(I just lurve spiders!)

Sports day today. Spent 1-3pm in the direct sun hanging around the end of the track with a stopwatch timing races. Got let off at 3pm (I am a part-timer, after all) so then set off for 3 mile cycle home, mostly uphill. Was very hot by the time I got home. But on the plus side I seem to have done a good enough job with the sunscreen not to have got burnt.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Looks like it must have changed, I don't recall a waiver for values below £135.
There was one for gifts under a certain amount, and it sometimes wasn't charged on stuff with such a low value it wasn't worth it (talking about £10-ish stuff from China), but sometimes was.
I don't recall an outright waiver either, though.💙💛 💔0
