Luckily all the important stuff is stored elsewhere but it's going to be interesting for the next few days. I'm hoping by the end of the weekend I'll know most of what is happening

Now, Ivy, what makes you think I would make such an obvious pun?
If I were to, I kid(ney) you not, I would never live(r) to tell the tale! :rotfl: (laughs heartily!)
Aspirin and ibuprofen are anti-inflammatories; they belong to a group of drugs called NSAIDS, (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). As the name suggests, they act on inflammation, as opposed to pain as such.
These can irritate the stomach, especially if not taken with food, and in very extreme cases, may cause or contribute to a stomach ulcer if not taken with care.
people who need to take them regularly are often prescribed a stomach-protecting drug as well, to take with them.
Paracetamol is a pain-killer, and it can also help to bring down a high temperature. It doesn't work on inflammation. If taken to excess, it may cause liver damage.
Yes, when I had my bones re-set after my accident a couple of years back I was taking paracetamol and ibuprofen but also a drug which was an antidote to the stomach-damaging effect of the ibuprofen.

Oh, I didn't know such a thing exists. Not hooked on drugs but just curious as to what it was?PN I can't access that file you want. Needs a premium membership I can't afford. Will delete this if asked.
I saw someone posted the link earlier, which may have gone now.
I will also happily delete this and the quote above if asked.💙💛 💔0 -

It's got so humid I needed to switch my aircon machine on.
It was supposed to rain today, but it hasn't. I think it might be building up for a thunder storm though.
I'm in the Lake District right now. No lack of rain!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Message for Pyxis...
There is no VAT on books or sheet music in this country, so if you have been charged you should be refunded. The exception is if you've bought a composite product, such as a music book with a CD.
Sales tax is payable on books in many US states, so that may explain the confusion. However Royal Mail should know better.
I'd query this and ask for a refund if they have charged you. Here's the relevant VAT notice:
