An AK-47 might be less efficient, but it's more certain :rotfl:

But a pea-shooter is less likely to land you in prison for multiple kidocides! :rotfl:

On the other hand, Pastures, you could cultivate a fear of the 'lady that casts spells on children wot doof'.

    That should see them off!

Got stuck at the caravan last 2 weeks as OH passed on the rotten virus he had to me. Cough cough cough cough cough. Finally beginning to improve, and even managed a shower this morning, first for a week!

Just as well as yesterday had a phone call to say my new Motability car will be ready to pick up on Tuesday! :j :j :j

So think we might go home on Sunday - will need to rest up tomorrow to get over the after effects of today's shower. :o

Oh, the car is a VW Touran SEL 1.4 TSI 150PS 6-speed Man 5 Door. With heated front seats and massage. Atlantic Blue, with Titanium Black upholstery.

After the year of hell we went through over the whole DLA to PIP thing I decided we'd have the treat of the massage as well as the heated seats. The heated seats are a necessity for me, even in summer I use them a lot. Winter there's no way I could travel any distance without them.

I know I should be excited, but I'm more worried about how the hell I'm going to get packed up and home in time.

Urgh... Is that a crime too nowadays?

This PC thing has gone too far....:rotfl:

    What a coincidence, I was at this place this afternoon, researching for a Chrimbo pressie;

Of course, I had to buy some while I was there - not enough to render the house but just sufficient to fill some post-lunch corners ;)

The effects of the shower? What was it? A meteorite shower?

    Never had heated seats!

And do they massage you while you're driving?
Wouldn't that send you to sleep?

Maybe they are linked to eye movement detectors and dish out a sharp jab if they think you are starting to doze off ;)

It's not his first actual wage, he got that when he was 16 at his part time job (full time in the summer ever since)...this is his first post uni career wage. He got me loads of books and treated me to a meal out with his first wage at 16.

I paid a bill and bought myself a lovely breakfast at the local farm shop, James seemed happy enough with that.

Joe's first wage (from his part time job), he took me on an afternoon tea, his first whole week wage, he bought me a new handbag.

James doesn't live at home anymore so he doesn't pay me board, we never had to have that discussion as he moved straight from uni to his new place and when he was working in the summer holidays whilst home from uni, that money was used to see him through the following year at uni (although he would give me money for fuel and pay for some shopping whilst home). That was my decision rather than his because of the cost of living at his uni due to the closeness to London factor.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
