If you go on Mastermind, your specialist subject could be "The Comings and Goings of the Residents et alia in xxxxxx Close/Road/Street". :D

Ideally I'd like a small webcam in my upper window, that I could switch to and take a peek whenever I wanted... and another one stuck against the fence, looking through a hole drilled in the fence rather than mounted on a pole above it
    :)

I saw Aged P on Thursday.

I didn't tell him I had been discussing him on here, but I did ask him if he liked the idea of being an Aged P, and he smiled and quoted something that Wemmick said to Pip about Aged P's simple wants and how easy it was to keep him happy. Since I am not as big a Dickens fan as he is, I can't remember the exact quote, I'm afraid.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Presumably, then, he has no great expectations?

    Was it this........

"Aged P doesn't want much. Wemmick says: "Nod away at him Mr Pip; that's what he likes. Nod away at him, if you please, like winking!"

The Telgraph had a little article about Aged P. Which is where I got that quote from..............
