Sorry to hear you are still suffering GDB, hope it will all get better soon.

MSE Jordan posts on twitter (and probably on here somewhere) about his recovery - he had acute crohns and ended up with a bag. He adjusted to life with the bag so well that he was unsure whether to let it go, but had a reversal recently and posts positive updates.

The proverbial has hit the fan, right now I am the temporary guardian of a 7 year old. Will post more in the other place when I get the chance.

    You are amazing!

I'm very stressed! Niece is loving the boy's television in the bedroom and all of Josh's teddies.

Have given a further update in the other place.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Blimey... Well done.

I snuck downstairs and brought DW coffee in bed , in a pretty dramatic turnabout in roles! :)

Feeling much better, thanks, but the first few days after the op were pretty awful. Fortunately, I got good biopsy results yesterday, so things are really looking up.

Sue, it must be lovely to have your niece round. Hope it doesn't take too much out of you. :)

I'm absolutely exhausted to be honest. Niece has been brilliantly well behaved, had expected some kind of meltdown or trouble sleeping or well, something but nothing, just well behaved, going to bed when told, sleeping right through etc. She didn't even react negatively when I removed her phone from her possession (I don't believe 7 year old children should have phones or unfettered access to the internet), she just calmly got it out of her bag and left it on my coffee table.

School run was ok but very strange going back to the same infant school Joe went to.

DW and I had an outing. We went to the hospital, arrived, and we turned to each other at the same time, and asked the same question. Namely, do you have the form we need for the blood test? Then, we turned round and drove home. :)

Oh dear, GDB! OH and I had a similar outing once :) Glad you're home and beginning to feel a bit better.

    Oh Sue ((HUGS))
