Hey, I can give you a POPLA appeal letter that has worked for me a couple of times. I would attach it here but Photobucket is not good and won't let me upload it at the moment.......................

Is it contained in one of your previous threads here? If so, could you link the relevant thread? Search for your previous threads by clicking on your username and go from there.

Saves a photobucket link - pb has been a real PITA of late, all sorts of spurious pop-ups like 'We've detected a virus on your iPad, click here to remove' (yeah, right!).

Photobucket is no longer free for third party hosting maybe that's your problem.

"The car park is operated by an ANPR system which captures images of everybody car upon entry and exit of the car park and calculates the length of stay.

    incorrect!

the correct system , is to allow an additional 5 mins at the start , and a time at the end of the parking period (11 mins) , how can an ANPR system that captures VRNs and time on entry / exit do this

I've been contacted by POPLA today to tell me the operator (ECP) have uploaded their evidence and that I have 7 days to respond. I don't seem to be able to open the documents on my iPad and have no access to a computer until Thursday or Friday.

Is the evidence likely to be specific to my case or do operators use some form of general response? I have no idea what I will say in my reply at the moment. Any advice would be welcomed.

The evidence will likely be a mix of both. Probably a small part specific to your case, then a ream of template, copy and pastes.

What file format have they used to upload their documents?

Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your iPad?

I don't think I do have Adobe Acrobat Reader...I'll see if I can download it. Thanks.

Yes - iPads, iPhones etc are no good for dealing with this sort of stuff.

Always use a proper computer or laptop.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.
