well if they launch a new account after this month, my passport will have expired!

i'm only getting 0.25% at the moment, so it will have to be moved at some point.

The BoE meet tomorrow, but I might leave it until after the Budget if nothing worthwhile is launched soon.... and I still can't register at Tesco!

Absolutely no way will they be raising the rate. They were banking on a quick influx of cash. Now the account is closed to new applications, raising the interest only loses them money.

Just had an email to say they will be lowering the rate to 1% on 6th April 2018!

Given the shambolic nature in which these accounts were opened, for me it will have an effective life of 8 months (August 2017 - March 2018 inclusive).
