So you think the D actually made a SO/SJ application?
I've never seen a hearing listed Like this in the court list, and have made both types of applications in the past. The cases were just listed as X v Y in the normal way.Although a practising Solicitor, my posts here are NOT legal advice, but are personal opinion based on limited facts provided anonymously by forum users. I accept no liability for the accuracy of any such posts and users are advised that, if they wish to obtain formal legal advice specific to their case, they must seek instruct and pay a solicitor.0 -

Ask them. They'll likely have the original listing. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Starting the new month off with a bit of a bumper list - 42 cases. Of these there are 12 set-asides, so a dozen people who have likely had their credit rating trashed more often than not through no fault of their own. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I have been doing a bit of reading. Many on here say that you need a credible defence to get a set aside, but you can apparently get one if you think the amount of the debt has been incorrectly calculated, which almost all PPC CCJs have.
Also, what if you are not disputing the debt and would have paid a the lower rate if you had received it.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
