So many cheap flights to the USA around at the moment. But neither I nor my partner can be bothered going. Feels like we've already done it and there's nothing more to see.
Really?
I've only visited 22 (I think) states so far, there's plenty more I want to see and several places I'd like to return to the and see more of!
But I guess it'd be a boring world if we all liked the same things

Thats some going Jackie - how long has that taken to accrue ?0 -
27 states & 4 Canadian provinces, many of them several times. I'd go back at the drop of a hat, so much more to see. As Jackie says, thank heavens we're all different or the good places would be really crowded.
Edit: Read "Brit at the Ballpark" by Pete Taylor. A baseball game in every state.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -

11 trips (averaging 1 a year) but 3x to Florida, 2x to California and 2x to Washington DC.
Not going anywhere this yearbut I have a new plan for the next 5 trips I'd like to do
(it would have been a 5 year plan but change in circumstances means it might take me nearer 10 years now, especially as I'm restricted to travelling in school holidays
)

Thats good going for an independant traveler (when I get the chance, I'll have a tot up of my own State "count" - I'm adding another couple of newbies this time around).0 -

I assume that's more interesting than calling it "The 51 most boring sporting fixtures I've ever seen"!0 -

When we do itineraries, they are not run of the mill and we've done a lot of them. So a flight to a single state just doesn't pique the interest.
A everyday itinerary for us would be New York, Rio de Janeiro and Miami within one holiday. Another might contain all of the Virgin Isles, British and American, together with Puerto Rico, Miami and New York. Another...
We've been doing this kind of thing for a while.
So I'd be happy for you to come up with some interesting things to do in the USA, as so far we've only really been to both coastal regions. The rest doesn't really appeal. But open to suggestions.
Especially as there are a lot of relatively low prices at the mo.0 -
