Have BA transatlantic flights gone up??

i have been doing this trip for the past 4 years around the same time (so i am out on a specific weekend).

The flights used to be quite expensive (around the £550 mark) but that was when it was US airways and BA (after BA had bought US airways!). These flights were changed over to AA and Delta was brought in so the flights went down to about £450 a pop.

But now they are £650 on all airlines which is too expensive and im considering flying into NYC and getting the bus to philly but i dont know.

BA didn't buy US Airways.

I booked flights to Calgary in Nov 2016 with BA Premium, no increases with flight out/in in May/June 2017.

Flights i took in May also had actually gone down but every flight i have looked at since has gone up a LOT

Never mind. i just got them for cheaper than i have ever got them because of the sale that has just started. I should have known haha

So many cheap flights to the USA around at the moment. But neither I nor my partner can be bothered going. Feels like we've already done it and there's nothing more to see.
