Cheapskate

Hello All
Not posted on this thread before, but baby ASLEEP so having 5 mins to myself

Today I have:
Washed 3 loads of clothes
Dropped off DS at work experience
Cut teasels off plant in garden & now drying by fire (for autumn/winter displays in house)
Sorted out items sold on Ebay - ready to pack up & post

Not too bad considering new DS is only 4 1/2 months & rarely sleeps in the day!! I do stitching for one of the magazines, so I'm off to try & do a few minutes before baby wakes. Only fly in the ointment was having to stay in for a delivery that STILL hasn't come - new pram for baby - it had better come today as there's a postal strike for the next couple of days, isn't there?

Hope those of you who had a bad start to the day have a wonderful end to it:)

Afternoon all
Big hugs to ll who need them.
It was a better day at work today, not so many people moaning, either that or I frightened the moaners away.
Lodger was sneezing all night, hanging washing out at 2 in the morning. I did say that her tablets would stop her sleeping, as they are full of caffiene, but she just upped her dose as she thinks they will cure her cold. She says she has a cold because of all the chocolate she's been eating, if that was true, I'd have a cold every day.
Today she asked about paying her rent daily instead of monthly, it's half term in a couple of weeks, so I expect she wants to go away for a couple of days & not pay rent, we'll see. I think I'm working through most of half term, but the rota's not up yet.
I'm doing Sausage casserole & special fried rice tonight, probably a strange mixture, but I'm still not eating, so I really don't care!!

I remember being on a forum when Churchill my cat died and someone posted one for me, it made me blub like a baby but was the most beautiful thing i had ever read

hello all

its been cloudier today but not too cold so managed a walk with the Lo's at playgroup to collect leaves, the trees are a lovely colour and there is a smell of autumn in the air
i am having kyle and family over for lunch before they go tomorrow, save them cooking, bet the eldest two dgs's will be very excited, Lo too little to realise, wonder what he will think of the aeroplane

((((hugs)))) to all, especially those who are not well. Not posted for a few days but am finally settling down with new job and have managed to finish at old job- doing both was doing me in!
One question- what does ILO mean? Is it something to do with dogs?
Also advice needed- I have the chance to go to Israel on holiday with my Mum who is going through a really hard time at the moment- but it is over half term. DS is 15 and DD is 13 but they fight a lot and I don't like leaving DH to cope with them, the dog and work all at once. However it is a fantastic opportunity and I feel my Mum also needs a bit of tlc at the moment.
