Only managed to do it this year cause I started putting money away in January! Knew I would get in a state for mini-me's birthday and everyone's Xmas so put away a little each month and luckily, have never spent it!!! Been hard to resist the urge but well worth it if I can get everything without the cards. Gonna be a tight one this year anyway!!!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

it may be tight but well worth the good feeling....i admire how you didnt touch the savings, i know i would av... you know, those "do i just work to pay the bills" days,. i would av thought, ok time for a bit of me time, av a few pints... .. but i am trying my best to ignore those days n feelings, i know that if i get through this debt, there will be plenty of time for me to go out and enjoy meself, without putting it on a card.... just gotta get there 1st Corduroy pillows are making headlines! The thing that is keeping me going at the mo is the thought that if I didn't have to pay any debt every month, e.g my Cahoot loan and all my credit cards, I could actually have some money to spend on myself and mini-me. Sooo much is being eaten up by debts and interest payments it is ludicrous! Makes it worse I have nowt to show for any of it...it's so easy to think I will spend a few quid here and there but it soon adds up so trying mega hard not to!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Trying desperately hard not to buy any more clothes now...could probably do with some boots for winter really and both of us need a hat, scarf and glove set for the winter but we both have coats so that's something...house could do with a few bits really like bedding and towels etc. Will look on ebay for the clothes. Hopefully when I start meal planning it will keep down the cost of foodies. Wonder how little me and Emily can live off of? Worried as could go for mega cheap food, but then what about nutrition...fruit and veggies can be quite expensive...also cat food for the beast! Blimey!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
