Poll conducted for pro-Leave organisation, so obvious bias towards a higher Leave vote.
How reliable were most opinion polls leading up to the referendum, Trump, 2017 GE?
So, not blaming you, but pointing out why I think it's wrong, as paired with that I've seen a lot of people going the other way.💙💛 💔0 -
Meanwhile it strongly appears that the EU is attempting to bully Bermuda:Richards told reporters earlier this month that the Bermuda government received a questionnaire from the EU’s Code of Conduct Group which he said was intended to damage the island’s position in international business.0

Japan 'poised to begin informal trade talks with UK'

New UK Govt mirrors the sorts of confidence and supply arrangement found across Europe.
BTW - New warnings across the press today of a potential mega-crash on the horizon coming out of Asia. I argued that Corbyns vastly greater UK debt would put us in perilous position when the next crash comes.
Thank goodness we didn't put Labour clowns in charge of our destiny and finance.0 -
UK will end up with a Ukraine-style Brexit, says top German MEPThe Scottish MEP often described as German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s right hand man has claimed Brexit will end up as a Ukraine-style free trade agreement.
David McAllister, who holds dual German and British citizenship and has a Scottish father, is the vice-president of the conservative European People’s Party and chairman of the European Parliament foreign affairs committee.
The EU-Ukrainian deal provides preferential access to EU markets, but does not insist on free movement of workers, a key sticking point for hard Brexiteers.
Mr McAllister said: “I believe it will be a British model and it will be closest to Ukraine, with a deep and comprehensive free trade deal and partnership on security.
“In five or seven years time, it will be something similar. The idea you can leave the EU in two years – nobody in Brussels thinks that’s feasible.
“The EU is well-prepared for these negotiations and has been preparing itself for the idea the UK will leave the single market and customs union.

I just noticed CKhalvashi seeking an apology from me.
May had a huge advantage coming into the election but she totally squandered it by seeking to take pensioners houses away and other miscalculations.
Secondly I had not anticipated Labour offering to wipe out the entire debt of middle class privileged students, giving them even more life advantage. A total bribe and another cost that would have put us in a precarious position when the next recession hits.
Once more a demonstration of the childish short termism found in left wing populism.
So I apologise for my not anticipating those elements.0 -

A very interesting opinion piece from CNBC suggesting that Germany would be better concentrating on EU difficulties instead of upon world order:Most British concerns were also shared by nearly half of the French electorate (Front National, La France insoumise and Debout la France) during the first round of presidential elections in April. Those problems are still there as witnessed by a spectacular — 57.36 percent — abstention in the second round of French parliamentary elections on June 18. The rate of abstention among people 35 or younger was 75 percent, with another 70 percent among the low-income people.Let's see how that's done … in a community of different national interests, traditions and values.
For example, the feisty Visegrad Group (Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) does not want Europe to intrude on its sovereign decisions about immigration and issues of culture and national identity, while the Scandinavians want untrammeled globalization and free trade.0
