Good to see you, Malc. :hello:

The chances of that happening are zero. E.on are always very prompt with payment and we are almost into September. Although, it's now the final countdown, only 11 months remaining on my tariff.

Be positive - I still have 11 months remaining, on my tariff. :D

I don't want to have to leave E.on. It suits me to have a stress free energy supplier, for which, I may have to pay an extra £10 a month. Cheap v reliable? There's no avoiding the increase from pre brexit rates, for me. But who knows? Next summer is probably as good a time as any, for switching or changing tariffs.

Just had confirmation from Malc that my WHD has been approved.

Awesome, as I missed out on it last year with OVO.

Thank you, you have taken a massive weight off my shoulders.

Glad I was able to help lift the burden SpotlandRules. :)

    Good result.

    Morning slipthru.

We're currently taking applications for the 2017/18 Warm Home Discount scheme for customers who qualify under the Broader Group. There are only a limited number of these available and we deal with applications on a first come first served basis.

We don’t know exactly when we’ll close our Broader Group scheme although in previous years we've closed it to new applicants in November/December. Once we’ve reached a certain number of applications, this year’s scheme will close.

If you qualify under the Core Group, you don't need to apply as you'll receive the payment automatically. The Department of Work and Pensions will write to you to let you know. For Core Group customers, whoever supplies their electricity on the qualifying date (9 July 17) will make the payment regardless of whether or not there has been a change of supplier.

Hope this answers your question slipthru. Let me know if you need any more details as happy to help.

That's great slipthru. Yes, you can apply now. Quickest way is by using the application form on our website. We'll send an email acknowledging your application. This usually goes out within 24-48 hours of applying. If you haven't opted for email contact, you'll receive a letter instead.

There's more information about the scheme including some useful FAQs on our website. On the same page, there are details of other ways we try to help our more vulnerable customers.

Welcome to E.ON slipthru and hope this helps.

  • Just checked my account and mine's been paid in too. Much earlier than last year. Thanks Eon. :)
