  • What a beautiful autumn day! Getting my washing on the line for what will probably be the last time this year. To think I was close to putting the heating on earlier this week. Madness. Weather like this surely does help when you've not had a good sleep.

Update on the food wraps I made...a resounding success! Phew. That'll save some pennies and the environment :D

Just got back from the local library with tornado toddler and the twins. They have a story maker session every Wednesday. Wasn't aware of it last week when it started but it's running until March so I'll hopefully make most of the sessions. I feel very accomplished to have got out with all three girls and get to the library and survive the hour session!!:rotfl: The tornado toddler loved it, dancing away, she did occasionally run off and around the library but it's a locked down session so no one can escape the building! !

I've also had a small induction at the library to allow me access out of staffed hour times. This is fantastic, I won't have to wait until staff are in, which is only 3 afternoons a week.

DHs job is going well. Theres so much overtime. Told him to not overdo it though.

Thanks ABBA, it's honestly such a psychological boost. Part of me wonders what the debt would be if we hadn't took hold of it and paid as much off as we had.
Most definitely on target to being in the region of 24k by the end of the year :T

I felt proud of braving the library with my kids too. They love it and actually the staff don't mind the kids being kids. Well done you. You're doing great - keep going x

  • Hi diary,

Not much report just popping in whilst feeding one of the twins. Can't believe they're 16 weeks today

Had my payslip through via email so I know what I'm getting on Monday. Only £200 less than usual as my full pay element finishes toward the end of the month. It should mean that I won't need to start using my mat savings until the November pay which is good.

Bought some tickets for a circus that's coming near to us at the end of the month. Tornado toddler has been asking non stop for a long time to go to the circus. Not entirely sure where she's got that from. Anyway, via their website it was going to cost £38 for one adult and the two eldest. But being the :money: I am I went to TCB and through to Gr0up0n who had a deal on. So for the three of them it cost £24 but I'm getting £4.32 in cashback. Happy with that. It's a surprise for the kids. They're not getting told until they get there. They're going to love it.

Currently batch cooking some fishcakes. I'm pretty much the only one who eats them! So I'm using up the rest of the spuds from the packet along with some YS salmon. Will freeze portions for me to have in the future. Going to have mine with wedges later whilst the rest of the family have the rest of the lasagne from yesterday. Tomorrow will be homemade pizza using some reduced price bread flour.

  • Made a small payment to the BC. Ideally I want to clear it by the end of November. I have £420 of my standard budgeted for payments to go towrads it which leaves £32 to be found. I hope to achieve it from tidying up my accounts regularly and also from Qme3. Since re concentrating on Qme3 I've earned £3 which has been put towards the BC. If items manage around £3 a week on Qme3 it'll leave me with around £11 to find from elsewhere. I'm most definitely motivated to get the balance to 0. I really want it to then give me around good balance transfer rate so I can move the Lloyds balance as the 0% deal ends in Jan.
