excellent news
Although I don't want to rain on things , keep those agency options open until everything is confirmed
I am sure everything will be fine , it sounds like they have been very pro active in securing his employment however it always best to have a plan B in place .......just in case
In the meantime , I think this good news deserves a jubilant glass of wine0 -
Thank you everyone.
Absolutely wise words efes we're not quite celebrating until the letter comes through with a start date.
As for a celebratory drink...well I've still not had any tipple since finding out I was pregnant last November. DH has also abstained since being unemployed to save the expense and he's enjoying feeling better for it.
So we'll probably think of something else to celebrate once we feel safe to.

So DH has had several phone calls now absolutely confirming he has the job. We're just waiting on HR to give the start date and they're trying to push it for Monday. That would be great. He's chomping at the bit.
Never did update on DHS health. As some of you may recall he has had ongoing back issues resulting in scans etc. There was even mention of MS. Well he's now been diagnosed with something called hereditary !!!!!!! paraparesis (hsp). It relates to stiffness to his upper thighs but because of this the knock on effect is his back issues. We've had to get the older children referred to paeds to check for this. Not really much can be done about it other than physio
Feeling rather chilly today but I will not out the heating on! Really want to hold off as long as possible on this. A disadvantage to mat leave is increased fuel consumption!

That's a shame about the diagnos but at least you know what he's dealing with, I've been to physio for my hips and now my daughter who is 16 is also under the physio for her hips but it does help xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Well DH starts his new job on Monday :T
So much relief there. I will miss DH being around the house to help!
Managed to sell a few bits on 3bay, after all fees I've only made about £10, but I'm declutter in and it's a tenner I didn't have before! Probably going to stick it in my mat savings pot but for now it's in my PayPal.
