Thanks everyone for your lovely comments on my “shoe” cakes.
I made a mistake on the “folding” instructions – fold twice not 3 times.
On sleepsuits, fold the feet up to just under the shoulder (so they can’t be seen) and then fold the whole thing up again.
I never use card or anything, the nappies at the back keep it stood up. Just make sure whatever you fold up doesn’t show at the front neckline.

Wow!!!! EMJ2 What a fabulous cake. So much in it. Your friend isn’t going to want for anything. She will love it. Well Done! Did TKMaxx have the ellies in any other colours?

Irlrip, That is exactly what I do so toys don’t fall off. I wedge the tail or the label through the slit and use tiny wooden pegs to hold it. The card acts like a chair back
    Will try and post picture..

agggggh help i have just had an email from a lady who has picked up one of my buisness cards and wants a price list. But i am worried if i give her a price list it will put her off. I don't charge no where near what some of you ladies charge because i am only in a little town and it isn't very well off. I would love to charge more but i can't even sell at the prices i have set. I charged £20 for a 3 tier £15 for a 2 £10 for 1 and £6 for mini cakes.

Should i ask for more :confused:or not.
What about my cupcakes and muffins:confused:How much should i say for them Help!

This is my facebook group http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=60210487382&ref=ts so you can see the things i do for the prices

Couldn't find any winne the pooh teddies in tesco today.

is this seller anyone from here? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WINNIE-THE-POOH-NAPPY-CAKE-BABY-SHOWER-NEWBORN-GIFT_W0QQitemZ110375368318QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Baby_Maternity_Pregnancy_MJ?hash=item110375368318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

This is an amazing thread and I am in total awe at the creativity of you all. For those of you who sell the cakes, how do you post them out?

The seller is not me, her auction is quite hard to read cause of the red though lol. Nice cake though :)

I don't think you are charging enough for your 3 tier. I charge £25 for mine. £20 for the 2 tier and £15 for a single, then do my small ones for £5

Can't tell you about the cupcakes or muffins as I don't know how much they actually cost you. if you can let me know I can help give you a rough price guide.

Why was you asking about the seller on ebay?
