    Thankyou Irlip :)

Poohbear is actually a comfort blanket and you can stuff the blankie bit inside him to make him fat if that makes sense? he was quite expensive for a topper at £6.87 from asda (toy aisle) but looks lovely :D

Thanks, my Asda do have them but did think they were a bit expensive. I will maybe just have to cut down and put less in the cake.

Bit late in the day, but good luck to all the girls at the fairs..... lovely cakes as usual being posted.

As anyone know where there are any photoshop tutorials for removing the background on pictures, so your left with just the cake and a white background? Ive got shut of most of my stock cakes now, but need to edit the pictures a bit for on my leaflet.

    Thanks

Hiya everyone - have been having a play and have just done a 3 tier square cake...

    NeutralSilver_white.jpg

Haven't got a suitable toy to put on top of it - needs to be white I think!! Maybe it'll look ok without once I've wrapped it in cellaphane? planning to use cellaphane with white dots... let me know what you think?

Also, finally got round to wrapping my pink 'cupcake print' one I've sold to my friend - I think it looks gorgeous in the cellaphane!!

  • Hi girls, im back again!

This is one of my part baked cakes from today but I have a little query, it has 20 nappies in but still looks 'little'.

Is there a special way of folding the nappies?

Thanks (sorry to be a pain!)

  • Can I ask, with flower bouquets, what do u use for steams..... wire, from a florist?
  • Hello again everyone.

Julie, your stall looks fabulous. I'm determined to keep up with the thread now after my massive 3hour catch up the other night!

I'm having a nightmare finding nice white or lemon blankets: I've tried Tesco, Asda, Dunn Elm, Home Bargains, InStores. Any further suggestions?

I've seen cream, pink, blue and even green but no white or lemon in any of my local stores.

    Thanks.x

Oh by the way the lady who asked me to make the cake for £10 was really impressed, I was pleased with it too once I'd wrapped it.
