Rusty, Thanks for your help and encouragement. Havn't read all the posts from yesterday yet (lots of activity on here lately) but thought I would bring you up to speed on my dreaded cakes. FINISHED THEM!!!!, thankfully. The problem was, they were too bulky. Only cotton but tried every way to fold them and it looked a mess or you couldn't see them. I spent £7 per outfit so I didn't want to hide them away. Anyway, I ended up folding them lengthways and putting them diagonally across the cake. I took some "not very good pics" (as it was late afternoon) so I will try and post them later.

Phew! finally read through the posts – can’t keep up!

Threelittlepigs your cake is really sweet. Will keep a lookout for bigger ducks for you.

Shelley – Funny, I can’t remember seeing your 4 Tier twin cake that Rusty posted. Didn’t you do a more recent 3 Tier twin?

Bellag, Yes I am burning the midnight oil again! Loved your new bouquets. Takes me sometime to make sock roses so I don’t think I will be trying these just yet.

On the shopping front – My Asda has still got Ellis but still £3. (And 10 miles away) Where are all the toys? We need some new ones. I am always on the lookout for Girls toys, as the boys seem to be well catered for with Jungle Animals etc.

Picked up some lovely Burp cloths and matching Bibs from HB yesterday. Bibs 2 for 99p and Burp Cloths 3 for £1.29. (Like the Matalan ones)
I got some blue ones from Poundlandl but they have never had yellow in my store. I didn’t like them when I first saw them but they are quite big and I think good quality for the price.

Sorry girls, my posts always seem to be so long!

Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow JulieH!

Yay well done moonpenny! I knew you wouldn't be beaten!!

I will have to keep my eye out for the bibs and burping cloths in HB, although I don't use bibs in my cakes but my little still wears them

Be kind everyone!!!!! Won't be to everyones taste. Not sure if I like them myself. LOL :rotfl:
Just glad to have finished them. :j
I have covered the top tier with frilly knickers. All the frills are positioned to the right but you can't see them in the pic.

Moonpenny I think you've still managed to do a lovely job with such a difficult task. Could you have placed the dress at the rear? It seems such a shame that you cannot see all of your beautiful cake.
I only made 1 4 tier twin cake fortunately because it gave me a bit of a headache at the time ;)

Emma, your cake is beautiful! Well done!

Shelley, I won't be making any more cakes like this as like you said, you don't see the cake! DIL took them both to work today so I don't know if they have sold.
