Hiya, I bought some last week in Morrisons - set of about 4 or 5 I think - have put them away now! they were good sizes though - not too big and not too small HTH0 -
Shelley I love your “huge” cake, especially the giraffe. (I love quirky things!) It would be more expense but could you use a round tray to sit it on. Or, maybe you could find a big plastic “picnic” plate. I have been thinking of using these instead of cake boards for the more colourful ones.
Riggerz, Your cakes are gorgeous, I wouldn’t change anything. The colours match perfectly.
I have been asked for a girl cake, 3-6 mths. I normally do 0-3 mths using Pampers 2 Nappies. Could you girls tell me if the size 3 would be the right size, or still size 2.?
Strange one this, she is due to have baby next wk and has got everything she needs and more! But still wants a cake – hence 3-6 mths. She would like pink but has all Winnie Pooh stuff, and wants a dress and possibly shoes included! (I thought maybe Eeyore for toy) Has anyone any ideas for toiletries etc that would make it slightly different to the newborn?
Just thought maybe a spoon or 2 for when they are ready to wean.0 -

Just got my mom to buy me some bobbly blankets as I haven't got ANY bargain shops near me. I think they look lush in nappycakes
Thanks Bargainbabe I thought I had put my foot right in it then:o
Where is your Mum getting your blankets from? My local HB has sold out again!!!!!! There is another branch about 20 miles away and one of my work colleagues works there so I may ask her to pop in for me and check if they have in stock. I love the bobbly ones and they are so soft.Little Miss Chatterbox

My mom lives in the Mids and she went to Home Bargains in Telford for me. Apparently there was loads but I just got her to get me 2 of each colour for now as I have no room for storage. Also made her go to Asda for me to get some Ellies. Again, my local Asda is just a food store really...really rubbish here for bargains tbh."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -

I'm in Telford, save some for me please ...........
I went to Asda's in the TC today and they had no Ellies
Did your mom go to the Donnington one ..... if so, are there any there???A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Wow, fantastic cakes and boquets everyone :T :T :T
Had a cake order today, but only for a 1 tier
Still, not far to deliver it, it's for the next door neighbour, an additional baby prezzie for her sister.A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
I must be mad!! Am sat here at 1.45 in the morning with tea & toast after my nightmare cake making disaster.
Rusty, That was so kind of you to offer to get the toys for me but have been to another town today and got both. I needn’t have bothered though cos it’s a disaster.
I got my wires crossed – woman wanted cake for her daughter who had done nursery out in Winnie Pooh. I thought she wanted Winnie cake but she just wanted a pink one with a dress in it, instead of sleepsuit.
Hunted high & low today for a summer dress (will be summer, 3-6 mths) and bought 2 (one with little trousers). Anyway, My DIL said if I make them both up they will sell. (Her workplace) I need to have them done for Friday and IT ISN’T WORKING.
Don’t ever buy anything bigger than sleepsuits to go in cakes, it doesn’t work!
I’ve tried folding the dress to put on outside but it just spoils. I’ve even tried putting the whole thing over the cake which looked absolutely stupid, specially with toy on top (looked like a dummy in a shop window with piglet for a head. LOL)
Sorry for ranting – I just don’t know what to try next. (maybe return them to shop would be a good idea. Am stressed!!!!!) Thanks anyway everyone for help with Winnie Pooh Shopping!
Shelley, Didn’t see any picnic stuff big enough for your cake.
Popkins , Your blue bunny cake is really cute. Well Done!
JulieH, Have finally seen your beautiful flower boquets. They are gorgeous! Thanks Rusty for showing them.
Bargainbabe, I have to wrap my cakes with 1 pair of hands too. When I come to cellotape underneath, I slide the whole thing as far as I can off the table, and tape it blind on the underside, then turn it round and do same.0 -

Oooh dear Moonpenny sounds like you are having problems!!! ... don't panic, do you roll nappies?? and secure with bands? if so make the dress the same height as the nappies then roll that up aswell, it will be a lot thicker than a nappy but you can use it as the middle of your base layer if that makes sense? I have done this a few times with dresses etc.
Hope you manage to get it sorted, and fingers crossed for the sales xxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
