Shelley and Moonpenny your cakes are absolutely gorgeous!!!!
Moonpenny where did you get the blankets and horses from? I'm loving the way you have tied the bow to the side and the sock buds- they are fab! I would definately buy those!...hmmm need to change my two tiers now too lol!
Shelley- your cakes always amaze me- how on Earth do you make them soo incredibly neat? They are always so classy.
Isnt it amazing that they are sooo different to each other yet they are both as equally stunning!!
Becs have you ordered your banner?....not long now hun! Hope you rae doing well in your preparations.

Sorry for butting in but the sleepsuits are from Asda I believeonly reason I say this is cause I have them in the garage, and have also used them previously on my cakes

Hi everyone,
Just finished my first 2 Tiers!
Wow sorry I had to quote this as they were hidden on the bottom of the last page and deserve to be shown off again!!! They are fantastic! I love the teddies!!! ... Can I ask where your blankets are from? they look fluffyRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Hi Bellag,
I've approved the final banner so hopefully will get it soon. Could kick myself now though as dh's designer at work managed to edit out the background on the cakes for my brochure. Kind of wish I had those on the banner now rather than with the background but still looks good. I ordered it through ebay as I had a 15% discount voucher for ebay so it cost me £16.98 inc p & p for 5' x 2' so chuffed with that.
Kitiaracat sorry your fayre wasn't great, well done on the 2 sales though! My first one is on sunday but from what everyone else is saying it will lead to more orders than sales so not expecting to sell much, although hoping as would help to recover some of my expenditure! Never mind will have enough made up to last a while if not! Or as dh says if we do have our own little one it will have a choice of 24 fleece blankets, 400 nappies, 32 tubs of baby bottom butter and massage oil not to mention all the clothes!:rotfl:0 -
Thanks ladies for your comments – all gratefully received!!! (though they look a bit pasty after all the lovely colourful Chrissy ones)
Kitiaracat – clothes are just bog standard 3pk sleepsuits from Asda. They have been used many times on this forum I think! They are nice quality though.
Sorry to hear about your craft fair but hey! YOU SOLD 2. At least you have had the guts to do it, unlike me. Lol.
Bellag – the toys were HB and the blankets from a similar store called BM bargains or something like. They were really cheap at £1.99 but great quality. They are a little bigger than the others I have been using and had a right job folding them.
Please don’t change your design – I love all your cakes.
I would love to make a Chrissy cake but no orders and it’s too late now so I’ll have to wait till next yr. ((Already got some stuff though!) He! He!
Shelley – another M&S 20% off day next Thurs. I think!!!0 -
Rusty - The blankets are even furrier on the inside and at £1.99 a bargain. I think they had Pink, a bit more lilacy pink, blue, white and beige. From a store called b&m0
