Had another argument with ex-OH tonight, this time over the fact that I always have a cuddle in bed with the twins before they go to bed themselves. I've been doing it for years now, she doesn't see anything in it other than it's a bit babyish. All I know is that the boys love it and there'll come a time when they'll say they don't want one or it just won't seem right anymore. Until then, I plan to carry on.

It's only because she wants one too, and there has been no forcast for frost in Hell, for a good while yet...

  • Busy bee day with 228 books delivered. Only spent £15.05 ( £13.00 petrol and, guess what, a behemoth bap and a packet of steak and onion crisps.:j .

Bit of mileage to do tomorrow and its doughnut and biscuits day at the football club so my spend will go up. Lost another 0.2kg since last weighed so almost at the 1.5 stone mark now.

Nothing exciting to report today, I'm afraid. Move along please, nothing to see.:D

Spent £8.00 on diesel ( bit broke till tomorrow ) plus £2.25 on a corned beef salad roll with mayo and a bag of steak & onion crisps. ( not that broke though!! ).

Sounds like a classic case of jealousy tinged with guilt about her own parenting skills!

Ahem, sorry about that but so many men aren't hands on dad's like you, and most women would love the daddies to be a bit more involved... plus as i said, she ain't exactly parent of the year, so no doubt feels bad about that and is lashing out at you cause of her own inadequacies (sp?)

Other than that, hope you are doing okay sweets! Reading your diary every day but not posting as i don;t want to look like the Yeovil Mac fan club! Which i was starting to!!!

She's definitely jealous - and probably feeling guilty as well since she can see how much the kids love having their dad around.

You're doing brilliant on the weight loss. How're you getting on with the debt payments? Think you were trying to pay of Provident or something when you started - have you managed to make any progress?
  • Pandapaws - not made any payments to them but I have got a phone appointment with CCCS on February 11th to sort out them and some other debts I have as detailed on the original post.

My wallet saw rather too much daylight today. £10 of petrol plus £1.09 for the doughnuts and £1.25 for the choc biscuits. I had a day off from the diet today and may well choose one day a fortnight where I eat what I like within reason of course.:D I know I can lose 3/4 pounds a week comfortably and still have a mini-binge day every two weeks.

Maz - you will always have a special place in my fan club:smileyhea on account that you're the sole member of it...:rotfl:
