As far as my friends noticing, yes they did. As I only see them every 2/3 weeks, they're the sort of people that will notice most and also they're good enough to mention it too....:j

  good for you! hope this helps keep you on track - nice to have encouraging friends.

Bad day today, tweaked something in my back tidying the van this morning and been in agony since.:cry::cry:

Manage to spend some money though again. £1.50 on a ham mayo roll, £2.04 on stamps, £5.00 on some ingredients to make my own smoothies and 35p on an evening paper,

Off to bed soon with some paracetamol. Owwww!!!

  • Sorry for the lack of posting, been rather busy lately....

Managed to put out over 500 catalogues last week despite being off for two days with a tweaked nerve in the back. A mate of mine helped me and he enjoyed it so much, he's going to come and work for me in the next campaign. Goodness, at last I've become big enough to take on some staff...:rotfl: :T ....there's still another 1,300 to do as soon as possible this week plus a trip to London for another customer on Thursday. Work is certainly busier this year than last....:j

Most of the days spend-wise have been similar. Spent £28 on diesel for the van this week plus £15 of petrol in the car too. Spent £1.70 on the "behemoth" bap each day plus 35p on a packet of steak and onion crisps too. Been a little bit naughty on the diet this week but have still lost 19 pounds in total this month which is pleasing.

Still have the ex g/f here with her daughter and our two children too. I think they're all moving out next weekend although I'll probably still have the boys until the Sunday. They're playing football this afternoon, they play for an under-sevens team, and because of the bad weather and the enforced Christmas break, they've only actually played twice now in eight weeks. I absolutely love it as I'm so proud of them ( BBaM - keep sending your DS to football training as it will be soooo worth it in the end ) and I get to see them close-up as I referee a lot of the games too. Dead handy to protect my little sausages from harm. If they have a good game, I praise them up online as I run the teams website and if they don't well I praise them up anyway.... :D . If people don't have the internet, they generally buy the monthly newsletter.....

Right, three pairs of football boots to clean, have a shower then lunch. See you later.

Wow - 19 pounds in a month is very impressive! that would take me to target, you've inspired me to put a bit more effort into it.

Hope your back is better soon.

  • Blokes always seem to find it easier to lose impressive amounts of weight in the beginning, it's keeping things ticking along that I normally find the problem...:A

Spent £5.90 today. That's DS2 and DS3's football subs ( they won 5-4 today ) plus £1.90 on a pint of cider after the match. Thirsty work, that refereeing, you know...
  • Hi, have been reading through this thread today and just wanted to say hi! i think you sound a great dad. Am really sorry it didn't work out with you and your ex...but you tried..if you hadn't, you would have always wondered.."what if".

anyway..am so tired off to bed now.

Good luck on your spending diary..if i could only knock the ciggies on the head, I'd do so much better!
  • Not that exciting a day today.

Spent £15.00 on diesel for the van, £1.70 on a ham salad roll with mayo and treated myself to a chocolate chip muffin too.:A

Delivered 165 catalogues this afternoon after collecting 270 odd this morning. The back is kind of holding out although I have the feeling that one slightly wrong move could do it more damage...:D

Another row with the ex tonight, I'm sooo glad there's only four more days to go....:j but will be sorry to see the boys go.:(

    Hey Yeovil

Just reading through your thread and just wanted to say to keep up the good work! You're doing brilliantly to keep so focussed given everything else thats been going on... and your weight loss is fab!!
  • Nothing exciting to report today, I'm afraid. Move along please, nothing to see.:D

Spent £8.00 on diesel ( bit broke till tomorrow ) plus £2.25 on a corned beef salad roll with mayo and a bag of steak & onion crisps. ( not that broke though!! ).

Had another argument with ex-OH tonight, this time over the fact that I always have a cuddle in bed with the twins before they go to bed themselves. I've been doing it for years now, she doesn't see anything in it other than it's a bit babyish. All I know is that the boys love it and there'll come a time when they'll say they don't want one or it just won't seem right anymore. Until then, I plan to carry on.
