SCS Law court threat

Options
Hello i'm new to this forum ive read various threads over the last year or so regarding parking tickets. I live in a residential block of flats away from the city centre, we have one allocated space which my girlfriend has and i generally park on the road. When i first moved in the flats there were no restrictions on parking but about 3years ago they started giving out tickets. I have accumalated 3 tickets, one for parking in my own space but i didnt have my "parking permit clearly on the windscreen" and two others for parking on the kerb approximately 5m in what is classed as private land. SCS Law have asked me to pay £495 for the fines or court will follow. This began in September 2015 and i must have about 15 letters from premier parking etc but this now looks to me that i will have to go to court. Any help with what my next move should be will be greatly appreciated, apologies if this has been covered before i have read a number of threads but i'm a bit confused as how to respond. Many thanks Dan

Is the letter the same as in this thread from today (see images linked in that thread). Are you required to pay Debt Recovery Plus?

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

As said above, if they ask you to pay DRP, it is a ....

Thanks for the replies, it is the same letter as the one highlighted in the other thread ,14 days to respond and pay Debt recovery plus. I guess i'll just wait to see what their next move is.

There you go ... SCS Law have pimped out their letter head

Sure sign of a scammer when they do this, asking you to pay other scammers

Just wait, the courts are fed up with these scammers

The best advice for you is to read the NEWBIES sticky/pinned thread.

When you understand the game you are involved in, then start a new thread if you have further questions.

Posting on other people's threads will only lead to confusion.

Hello i have recieved a court claim form from Premier park limited, i've read through a lot of the stickies and will be drafting my defence shortly .
As far as i can see i need to reply to the claim form to acknowledge that i disagree and want to make a counter claim and have to submit a defence .
Also i will be contacting the buliding management company to see if they will intervene
The claim is for two parking tickets at the flats i live at and were originally issued in 2015. I recieved numerous claim letters, bailiff threats over the years but just ignored them. Of the two tickets one is for parking in my own bay! the other is for parking on the pavment opposite. When i first moved in there were no restrictions ,then for about 1-2 years they gave tickets out , for the last couple of years this has stopped.
Is there anything else i need to do?
The Flats are in the Southampton area.
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Quick Reply Thanks 0

What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?

Did it come from the County Court Business Centre in Northampton, or from somewhere else?
