The option for a 3 year at £79.99 or a 5 year at £99.99 appears when you proceed to checkout. This with recycling of the old appliance turns a £299.99 appliance into £419.98. I also looked at one for £569.99 and the warranty to top from 3 years to 5 years costs £129.99 and with recycling, the price rises to £719.98. It's not surprising we are a throwaway society.0 -
Depending on your choice of credit card, or bank account, you buy the appliance with, some will offer an extended years warranty, over whatever the makers provide, without any charge.

When I bought my last fridge freezer it had a 2 year manufacturers warranty & I got another year added on by paying with my Nationwide credit card.0
