Thanks Hidden, I hope so too, although OH is stressed with his own difficult situations he is going through at the moment and he struggles to contain it, so it may not be quite so stress free! :(

Hope you manage a nice break MeandO - you deserve some time just to relax, so hopefully you and OH can chill for a day or two - easier said than done though, I know x

    Thanks Kirstypoos x

Just had a refund of £3.82 to paypal for some unused postage, so have transferred that to the bank account.

I don't need to spend much today, but need to pick up some milk and something for my dinner tonight when I leave work. There's very little in as I didn't bother getting shopping in before I went away, so will look for something cheap but yummy for one. :o I may pop to the shops at about 4.30pm as there were loads of YS bargains there last time I went at that time. ;)

Another £5 Amazon voucher claimed from surveys this morning, :) will await delivery of that as this company seems to take ages. Still waiting for the £20 paypal funds to turn up, it's been a week now.

My spends are looking higher this month already, but it's because I've bought some things for my Mum to try and make her more comfortable - certain pillows and cushions etc. I haven't told her how much they cost, my parents do so much for me, it's nice to be able to give back a little.

I've spent £60 on 2 pairs of trainers and various clothes for DS yesterday as he really needed some new bits. Money was taken from savings to pay for it.

I made a few more orders last night, need to post them today along with an item to return, which will be a refund of £12 to the bank account.

Last night I stewed down lots of plums and fruit from my parents garden they kindly gave to me. It's now in tubs in the freezer ready for use at a later date. :)

OH and I are off for a long weekend in a self catering cottage later today, am really looking forward to a bit of rest and relaxation - hopefully! We're taking food with us so spends will be minimal, just the diesel in the car to pay for later.

    Happy Friday all

    Thank you Hidden.

We had a lovely weekend, really relaxing and quite lazy, although had to pick DS and his Dad up from the airport last night really late, so exhausted today again. :(

Had an issue with the car whilst I was away, hopefully it won't cost a lot to fix, but after an argument with the main dealership who refused to look at the car as it 'wasn't due a service' I've booked it into ATS this week.

I am hopefully having the rest of the bathroom work done this week too, **IF ** the builder shows up. He is juggling different jobs at the moment and it seems mine is always dropped to the bottom of the pile. I'm so fed up with waiting for trades to come and do what they've agreed to do, I'll be glad when this is done as it's the last that needs doing for a while, hopefully.

I received the £20 survey funds to paypal on Friday which has been transferred to the bank account. Not sure what I'm going to do with that yet as things are tight, so it may need to stay there.
£5 Amazon voucher also received this morning and applied to my Amazon account.

Got some surveys to catch up on tonight, but it's going to be an early night for me hopefully.

    Have a good day everyone.

Just sold an item for £10 locally which is being picked up tonight. Had given up hope of it selling and was about to put it in the charity shop bag, but £10 will certainly help until the tax credits & CB is paid!

Just ordered some grocery shopping, just under £56 with a £6 off voucher. Couldn't really leave it any longer, the cupboards and fridge are bare!
