...and £102.50 paid off the credit card, just to round it down, although the almost £100 I spent at the weekend will nearly wipe that payment out, but at least it's going down now.
Ebay item up to £70, with an hour and a half to go. Will throw all that at the credit card when received as the debt really bothers me the most. Will work on building up the savings again too as well as OPing the mortgage. Argh, so many pots, so little money!Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Ebay item sold for just over £70. :j I've packaged it up, ready to post later today or tomorrow.
My darling parents have also gifted me some money. again. To explain further, they lent me and my ex OH money to buy our first house. They tried to gift it to us, but we insisted we pay them back, so between us we put so much a month into an account for them. I know they don't need the money but it is the principle to us. Every now and then they tell me not to put the money in or transfer it back to the account, they are so very kind.
I have been thinking last night about what to put that momey towards, whether I should pay it off the credit card, the mortgage or put it into the savings to build up the emergency fund again.
The credit card balance is approx £1000 at 0%, but I feel a bit wrong putting their money towards that. I'd love to pay it off the mortgage but I am concerned I have very little emergency funds presently, so I have decided it's best to save it for now.
I will be paying the whole of the ebay funds off the credit card instead now though.
A couple more surveys to do later. Food is all sorted for the day, no extra spends needed.
A potential £20 made on gumtree but I've said I will give that to DS's Dad for his trips with DS this summer as he gave me the the items from his house to sell in the first place.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Another £30 paid off the credit card thanks to a couple of orders. May be able to pay a little more off with it once I've covered some postage costs. Credit card total now in signature, currently £1057.23:eek: but will shortly be under £1k and on the way down!Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

£66.41 left from ebay sale after paying for postage, so that's been paid straight off the credit card. Outstanding balance now at £990.82. Would like to get it into the £800s within the month.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Hi MeandO,
Just caught up with your diary, hugs to you about your mum, I'm sorry to hear that xx0 -
Hello you.....
I'm so sorry to hear about your mum, it must be very difficult for you all. I think you're doing exactly the right thing in trying to carry on with normal life, with everything else that's going on you need to hang on to everyday things.
Well done on keeping going with the repayments etc - you'll get there xx0 -
Amazing repayments going on!
I agree keep the money as your emergency fund, at least then you know you're less likely to add to the card should something sneak in unexpected.
As for DS please don't worry about it until the time when it's needed. There is loads of help around and can be found. I think it's a bit of a postcode lottery but there will be something so please don't have the added worry about that.
Big hugs x0 -

Thank you MT, so nice to have you back. When you said you were going to catch up on our diaries, I nearly warned you not to step over this way as it makes for depressing reading I'm afraid.
As you said, it definitely helps to try and keep up the everyday things in some sort of order, sometimes a bit of normality isn't a bad thing I guess! xMortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16
