Vauxhall "Service soon" yellow warning light with spanner

Ignore mollycoddle. Search for most makes/models of vehicles, along with a random fault, and you'll likely get 'lots' of others with the fault.
As HP has said, the SVS light on a Vauxhall is for a fault that does not affect emissions, however it could indicate a fault in more than just the engine module, which a basic fault code reader will not pick up.0 -
Well, latest update.... went for a drive, did some shopping = no warning light. Started car and during the 15 minute drive home it lit up again and this time STAYED ON until I got home to unpack shopping. Started it up again to drive into garage and no light on. Weird.... but also worrying.
However, as I had my phone on me, I did the left foot on brake pedal and right foot on the accelerator pedal trick, put key in and turned it one notch and filmed the engine light symbol flashes (excuse the lack of technical know how) and this is what I captured, it means nothing to me and it's like deciphering morse code. Hope the video link works! Watch left of screen, apologies it's so dark btw0 -

Doesn't my engine coolant look critically low?
Shouldn't that have been checked in the service back in April?
.....or do I have some kind of leak?

Got half a bottle left from our Fiesta before it was scrapped0 -

Yes.
Then it's as per the spec in the manual.
All the information is right there on the bottle!0 -

Thanks. Nothing wrong in getting a second opinion!
No advice/suggestions as to why it's almost empty then? Surely it was topped up during the service.....0 -
A leak?
Have a look at the dip stick and oil filler cap, any mayo like gunk? Your coolant level should be about half way up the reservoir when cold0
