  • Fantastic news Chandelier. I hope it all works out and he sounds like a proper gentleman. You're quite right to take things slowly, something I have to learn.

Chandelier that's such lovely news about your gentleman friend. I hope it works out for you.,
  • Hope things are going well x
  • So...

I've been rather quiet the past two months. Alot has gone on since then...

I finally had my veneers done and I absolutely love them and its done wonders for my confidence. Its definately added to the debt though but its worth it.

I kind of took a break from here and debt busting. Its been a spendy couple of months and I haven't saved much/paid off as much debt as previously. However I've still been making payments. I need to get back on top of this.

I'm still seeing someone but I'm not quite sure where its going to go.. It ended up a rather complicated situation in some ways but I do enjoy the company when we are together. Its definately not something I possibly see long term to be honest but I mays well have fun whilst I can. I'm only young at 25, the worlds my oyster.

The boy is well and has recently had his own part in a ice skating show- he was amazing and so confident in his abilities. Hes doing the annual Christmas ice skating show too, so lots of practice over the upcoming weeks! He's settled back into the new school year and seems to be enjoying year three! He's so keen to learn. It will soom be half term :).

In regards to my mental health I had a major blip. I decided for whatever reason to come off all medications and was medication free for around 8 weeks- not my smartest idea. It didnt end too well and I've really struggled emotionally. I just felt I was on too many medications and didnt know what was working and what wasnt and they left me quite groggy alot of the time.

Orginally my diagnosis was Bipolar disorder and ADHD. The consultant would only treat the bipolar at the time. Around 6 months later he then stated he didnt think I had ADHD and took the diagnosis away from me and soley concentrated on the Bipolar disorder throwing numerous medications my way. However at my recent appointment he's decided that I do have ADHD again and has decided to treat it as well as the bipolar. So after many tears, lots of confusion and frustration we have dwindled my medication regime down to two bipolar medications and one to treat the ADHD. I am now happy to comply with this and can already see a difference in regards to taking the ADHD medication. They stated I was becoming pretty close to a hospital admission due to non compliance of medication and other services offered such as grouo therapy. I don't know how many times I have to tell them I don't do well in groups. It's so frustrating.

Anyway thats pretty much it in regards to updates although I'm sure I'll think of more.

I'll update with debt totals in my next post and as previously mentioned these are much higher then before due to a combination of things i.e. veneer costs, new glasses etc.

I'm back on the road to debt freedom and the road to recovery.

  • I will aim to tackle these debts in the following order. I have also posted in italic what my goals for the end of the year are in regards to debt busting.

    1) Sainsburys: £325.00 (Pay by December 2017)

    2) Halifax #2: £325.00 (Pay by December 2017)

    3) MBNA #1:£850.00 (Aim to get balance to £500 by December 2017)

    4) Halifax #1: £2410.00 (Aim to get balance to £2250 by December 2017)

    5) AA: 2475.00 (Aim for balance to be £2250 by December 2017)

    6) MBNA #2:£3150.00 (Aim for balance to be £3000 by December 2019)

Lovely to see you back. I did wonder if all was well.

Great to see you have a plan! Could you have your debt gone by the end of 2018 or is that too ambitious?
