Hi guys, forgot to update the last couple of days... probably because, as usual, I haven't left the house and so haven't spent any money :)

Was being pestered last night to make the pulled jackfruit burritos that I had planned for Friday, so will have to rearrange the menu plan... we have loads left so I guess lunch today is sorted.

Oh and I forgot we had a catered family party on Tuesday night, so I can save one of this week's meals for next week :D

Have a lovely day everyone :)

Just had to google jackfruit :o Veggie meals have come a long way since we tried them in the 90s. Anyone remember Burgamix? I used to make spag bol with it.

Making chicken noodle soup for lunch today from various LO fridge lurkers...sausage casserole and baked spuds for tea. Hoping for a NSD.

    hmmm, the best laid plans....
todays tiny shop turned into a £26.09 shop, that's some expensive sarnie fillings and veg!
I did tho buy laundry detergent and a few other bits, so overall I don't think I did too badly.

    Evening all!

Couple of Brucies today... Firstly, the ysing we were planning ended up only being one shop, and oh bought my salad and luncheon meat for me (16p) for both! Then he bought us a chippy tea on the way home. Before all that, I'd won the raffle at sw! Two carriers full of veg and tins!!

I'm counting today as a nsd. This is because I didn't buy the stuff with oh, and because the £1 for raffle tickets was not really food money.

I'm on a course tomorrow, and lunch is provided. Think that'll be my main meal :):):)

    Night all,

Yay. My purse has stayed firmly shut since Saturday but I will need to pry it open today. Careful menu planning and sticking to the list.

Did my week 3 shop last night, first A1di then Tesc0 as usual. I wanted to spend under a tenner seeing as how close to the wind I am with my budget, but actually came in at £14.34. So I have 12p left for another week and a half! For now though, I have plenty in, but not loads, and it's nice to have a bit of space in my fridge, as I know it isn't full of stuff I won't get around to using before it goes off.

Also - A1di sell Earl Grey tea for 85p for 50 bags!!! I'm SO HAPPY! I have both caff and decaff so will still have to buy Tesc0 decaff, but that's still a 47% saving!

I've been selling a few bits on Facebook lately, which earnt me £20 last Sunday, which was great but was used elsewhere (or will be). I'm going to try and sell some other bits to get me a little extra for grocery challenge. It'll mean I still blow my budget as such, but at least it won't be taken from elsewhere. July is also going to be a very tight month for me, although I've managed to get myself on a focus group for £50 cash in hand in mid July! so that will help!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend; I have leftover curry for my tea tonight so no cooking, yay!
