Hidden On the kids bedding - I assume it needs washing daily because of bed wetting? With that being the case, can I suggest that it REALLY isn't worth ironing it - you're right, you ARE making work for yourself, and needlessly so - they're not even going to notice, I PROMISE you! I'd say the same with their nightclothes too bearing in mind I imagine they go through those at a set a day too? You have more than enough to think about from day to day without losing your precious time in stuff like this. Plus, you'll have an awful job retrieving that iron from OH's.....🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

While I think, and we're on the subject, I used to have a friend who ironed her bra's. when MrEH heard this mentioned, he waited until she was out of earshot and said that he imagined it wasn't a terribly arduous task for her as they were pretty much flat to start with... :rotfl::rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I'm trying to figure out how you iron a bra.

Ah you've really give me a good laugh :rotfl::rotfl:
I don't iron Bra's I don't know how I would:eek:
Kids beds are washed just because I don't even know why? My mum always changed ours daily. Is that not normal:rotfl::rotfl: I've never actually noticed or discussed how often others change bed sheets
No OH still, Oh well means the kids are fed and bathed and we are all in PJ's :rotfl::rotfl: Watching tennisBecause its the law

I love having fresh bedding and would do i every day if it wasn't too much trouble. I probably change ours a couple of times a week but OH and son think that's excessive (they don't complain, though since it's not them that are doing it). I love when you go to a hotel and it's all fresh sheets and fluffy towels. I really am a simple soul.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

It sounds like a very productive day, when will the cooker be coming? Hope all works out OK with OH whatever that might mean. Enjoy the tennis x

Oh we mustn't get onto the great "how often do you wash bedding" debate - that nearly caused WW3 in here a few years ago! :rotfl:
Suffice to say that from my perspective it is definitely NOT every day - and (puts gentle arm around Hidden's shoulders) no I think it's fair to say that is probably not what most people do.
Bearing in mind how much you do, and how much it's starting to play on your health a bit, you might want to gradually start weaning yourself off tat one - quite aside from anything else it must be costing you a fortune not only in washing powder and electric, but in wear and tear on the bedding itself?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I remember that one EH :rotfl::rotfl:
Totally agree though, there really is no need to wash bedding every day. Mine gets done (cough) once a month (cough) and that is only if I forget, other wise its every two weeks.0 -
Would agree with you there, Essex.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0
