Youngest is invited to their school trip. However its a full day. So it won't only be £14 and I will need to find someone trained to look after her needs for the full day. It's hard enough getting someone more than 3 half days!
I think I'm going to thank them for the invite but say it's too short notice0 -

You're doing SO WELL!!! Keep reminding yourself of that - there are folk on here on massively higher incomes who haven't done half as well at paying off as you are.

Good to have the appointment out of the way. Maybe it will turn out to be one of those whose usefulness becomes apparent later, but even if not, it's helped you get out of the house which is generally a good thing (day light, exercise, etc.).
Hope your other call comes through and you manage to get the money in the post. After that you can look forward to the movie with the littlies!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

You are doing really well. I agree with EH, get that referral chased."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Hello Hidden
I've been away for a few days and am just catching up. Hope you and the wee ones are feeling better now.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Thank you, Chased the referral as I do feel it's needed more if anything. Still no where near the top of the list though
Another 6-8 months! GP thinks can push it nearer though. We'll see they don't seem brilliant at communicating.
Smalls are all better, although so tired after being back at school today. All of them where in bed and sleeping by 6.15!
I still don't feel 100% but I think that's not bug related. So at least I'm not going to be spreading germs around. We have no plans this weekend though. Just a quiet one. I'm currently under the duvet on the sofa watching Xmas films
I didn't get my things posted or my bills paid. I went to the post office and its closed 'due to personal circumstances' I don't really want to post money just into the red box? Even though it isn't a huge amount
Will have to see if the smalls are up to walking into bigger town to go to the post office there. So dissapointed I feel like a total failure letting people down
Anyway enough moaning, I'm off for an early night hopefully. Hope everyone else is well x0 -
Evening HI,
Weather going to be cold but sunny tomorrow (hopefully is same for you) so would some nice fresh air for a walk to the other post office.
Cant believe your children were in bed at 6.15... we have hell getting ours to bed on time, especially now they're older!! Was so much easier putting them in their cot at 7 when they were toddlers ha!!!

I'm not sure why it's you that needs to find someone trained to have her for the full day. Isn't it the school that should do that?SPC 11, No. 062 DFD November 2020

I'm one of those people referred to above and have nothing but huge admiration for what you have and continue to achieve. You have paid more off your debt than I have managed in £s amounts as well as percentages and should be very proud of yourself.
We too have a quiet weekend with nothing planned. Bliss
Please take time to look after you xSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

You achieve much more than you think you do, don't be so hard on yourself Hidden. Hope you manage to get outside this weekend and get some fresh air.
I'm another one with a quiet weekend planned, can't beat it
Take care xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
