We are attempting crafty things today. It's all terribly lovely and social-media-worthy parenting, but it's very hard work! The DC want to do something new approximately every eight minutes. So far we have made playdough, salt dough, colouring, dot to dots and word searches. Counting down to lunchtime and naptime for the youngest...Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.0 -
Mine are okay until it comes to tidying up :rotfl: then they all seem to have better things to do :rotfl:
They are painting birthday cards for a relative at the minute. Which will keep them quiet until they argue over a certain colour or brush and then paint each other or the wall  :rotfl:
The joys of small onesI always say I'm sure I wouldn't of got away with it when I was a child, but we where pretty much left to our own devices 20 hours a day so maybe I would :rotfl:

I love the idea of children making cards and presents. It says that so much thought has gone into it. Last year my OH was going through a really bad time and the two little ones (aged 2 and 4) next door made him a birthday card (with help from Mum). You have no idea the boost that it gave to him. I would encourage them to do it as long as they are willing to do so (so long as you don't mind the mess).
Hope you're having a good day.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
