Pigpen, your debt is going down great!

Feels great to see the numbers going down doesn't it?

I'm now debt-a-phobic, prone to random outbursts ranting about APR, flat rate APR and interest free credit.

Its like when you give up smoking and become the worst non-smoker ever, only you glare at credit card reps in town centers and tut loudly.

There, updated my own siggy strip.

two years ago it was just under £15000. Then hubby was made redundant, and that paid off most of the debt except one £500 loan, which we refused to pay off as they would not reduce it and wanted an £85 admin fee.

4 payments of £40 left to go, it's scary when you count up how much you have all ready paid to it! But at the time, it was needed.

So, now, I am happy to be Debt-Phobic. LOL!

Its such a good feeling though, when you have money left over at the end of the month and you can just go 'ah sod it, lets go down the town and buy crap for the hell of it'. I'm waiting for the feeling to wear off though! I spend way too much!

    Hi everyone.

Well after a bad week for flying was supposed to catch up with everything this weekend, did it happen er NO! Just havent felt like it as have had a dental abcess which was painful as h*ll. I wont tell you what I did, but its just sore now rather than the whole jaw aching. Busy morning in town yesterday with DD then by the time we'd put shopping away it was into mid afternoon. We (thats me and DD having quality time !!) managed a level 3 and all the extras in the bathroom and then I started on the top hallway wiping fingermarks off the walls. OMG how disgusting, I ended up having to scrub the whole wall both sides and then round the corner up to the kids bedroom. I still have to scrub from the top of the stairs all the way down to the hallway as I have a tide mark at the top of the stairs. Today have been busy, went back to shops to complain about being overcharged on something, and to buy more of the silicon bakeware (hadnt tried it before and they only had one left yesterday) so now have loads of it and the liners as well. Have baked a cherry madeira cake, a huge apple pie (with free apples from boss at work), jam tarts and a GLUTEN FREE banana and walnut loaf. It was brilliant being allowed to eat cake again so I ate 4 pieces one after the other, Mmmmmmmmmm its gorgeous. Oh and I made some Italian gateau thing from a packet mix for everyone (except me) to have as dessert. So the kitchen is a tip oh and the ironing mountain is HUGE. So plan is to get roast done and eaten, clear kitchen then start on the mountain even if its only work essentials.

Pollybear - have you tried burning lemongrass oil to get rid of smells - it is wonderful

And as for all those WISPA fans, I havent eaten one since I broke my crown off eating one from a fridge, and that must be 25 years ago !!!

Way to go Pigpen, love to be in your position (well less half a dozen of the little ones!)
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Garden looking good but house not so great. Cooking dinner now and have homework to check etc and school uniform to iron so doubt I'll get any flying done now.

As of last night DS3 has no verrucas and all my kids are nitfree - they didn't have them but haven't got them either IYSWIM

*sighs* Right, I'm bored! And lacking motivation, someone tell me to go do something! Go on, give me a task!

wait, no, you will send me out to pick up all the dog poo's or something. Think I will go put all the knickers and pants over the dryer.

Sponge Bob Square pants is annoyin me!
