  • morning all - can't believe it is 8am and now i want chocolate!!! i used to like sprials from cadburys!! but can't ever find them now. Cadburys have said they will keep running green and blacks as they are thank goodness

mind you i had a bit of an issue when l'oreal bought shares in the body shop because of their links with nestle - but the nestle list is v v long!

right i had some lovely me time last night - i went for a swim and a hot choc with my friend and tonight we are going to visit another friend in exeter (about 45 miles from here) so really looking forward to that - wow can tick that off my list - i'm soooo good at hte weekend list :rotfl: :rotfl:

i am also having my hair cut today - i need to tidy up the bits and bobs hanging around from the toy tidy - that can be my binbag task! My first stuff on freecycle was all collected yesterday and i shall price up some toys to sell today - some jobs that have been hanging for ages! The DIY thing will be dh varnishing door - has only been waiting since 2004 when we had the extension built and maybe the coving that i paid someone to do last month will get painted this month too - by that time of course the whole room will need doing again as its been soooooooo long! :rotfl:

right all have a great weekend - i will pop to catch up on your news

Its so tricky when children play together but also get hurt - this could easily be children in my husbands class -year 2!! you don't live in devon do you!!!
can they be separated for year 3?

pigpen - your nails look great

    see you soon,
  • Morning everyone.

    This weekend I need to
meal plan, then a small grocery shop
    do the ironing
    put up new curtains
    help DS with homework
put on WM for school uniform wash

Today we are off to a local nursery for an open day they are holding. Need some winter pansies or something similar to go in our hanging basket outside the front door. Then this afternoon into town as DS has a couple of vouchers from his b/day back in Feb to spend and I need to get a couple of bits too.

scaredy cat- i have the same issues with body shop and haven't set foot in one since they sold out. We do the non nestle buying too.
kaz- sorry to hear you've had a rubbish week, hope things improve soon.
LJD- hope you are able to sort things out in school for your DS on Monday.
lil_me- i'm in awe of how much your getting done at the mo, don't blame you for taking the night off, you deserve it!

Enjoy your day whatever you end up doing.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

    Dark school uniform wash
Possible kids bedrooms if I can face it.
Try to do paperwork - just desk on the piles around me
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

    Morning All,
I don't usually post on the weekend, it feels weird.
Anyway, hoping to get the garden done today, Just a tidy up and get stuff in the shed or garage so its not left out during the winter.
DH mentioned having to clean the garage out, but I don't want to do that till we get back in Feb, so I 'm hoping to just squash it all in somehow.
I've also got to cut the grass, harvest last of our crops and get the rest in the compost bin...of course its a bit overcast here so it might rain....(then I won't have to do anything...!)
    Will catch up later

    Morning all :D

http://www.aquarterof.co.uk/cadburys-wispa-p-1153.html?osCsid=6fefc920f72f7056ea21568a8b2491e7 cheaper than ebay I think

Well after my night off, DP phoned me just after midnight (WOKE ME UP!!!!) to say taxi had broken (exhaust fell off) so was coming home and fixing it today. Thankfully his boss has got someone else to fix it this morning which saves him a job. He's busy playing with his cars getting ready to go to York or somewhere tomorrow. Have said that once this ones over it's full steam ahead on house stuff, no more messing about, he's played with them to get ready to go racing and left me to do the rest, not fair I don't think!!!

Anyway, plodding along this morning on filling my second box now, just picking stuff as I come across what can go now while I am tidying the kitchen and popping it in the box. Trying to figure what cleaning stuff I will need to keep here and what can go, I'm thinking keep bleach, stardrops, washing up liquid, soda crystals and washing powder, that should cover everything really shouldn't it, then I can pack the other potions I am working my way through. I've not bought any since last September (2006) apart from stardrops, starpine and soda crystals and there is still loads, joys of being a horder. That includes washing powder as I had bought bulk load of it now I use much less.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
