Yummy carrot cake looks nice, shocked that you dislike it, I love it :D

Can't find my advantage card anywhere, there is about £50 worth of points on it so need to find it! managed to change clubcard over phone (wanted it doing before November vouchers come out!) and Nectar.

DP annoying me, said 'Well I'm busy doing my cars tomorrow as I am going away again this weekend (nice for some!!!) so I will look after one of the kids while you take the other and pack the car with whatever you pack tonight, take it over the house and unpack it, but you will need to be back by 3pm' oh how nice of him! Anyone want to do a swap because he's annoying me!

Oh and littlewoods have called, said we'll deliver the bed Tuesday morning between 7am and 8.30am, were told noone will be there! They said we'll leave it outside in the garden, they were told NO because if it rains then it will get wet, then they suggested Friday but couldn't give a time, grrr! Why is it so hard for companies not to be useless???? The bed was supposed to be deliveres Wednesday between 12 and 6pm, a time we chose as it said we could! I think everyone is trying to annoy me today.

The estate agents who had the house we're moving into up for sale tried annoying me by saying 'well we've had an offer and have said he could complete in March when your tenancy ends' well tough because it's a 12 month tenancy was my reply, he'll have a long wait, they of course pressumed it was 6 months and told the buyer who was interested this. Anyway I spoke to landlady who said she's declining the offer anyway and is taking house off market as we asked. Not a chance I would have paid what we did to move in for 11 months (well it will be after we've finished sorting it out & got moved in)

Anyone else want to annoy me today ? :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........

No Michelle or Tracy this week? - hope you are both ok - I miss the comparisons with our LO's - makes me feel better knowing Im not the only one with a little monkey!!

Aaahhh, thanks, didn't think anyone noticed:o Notice Solwaykid isn't around either but sure shes all loved up ;) lucky minx!

Flying here as been zilch this week although I'm up to date on all the washing and everywhere looks semi okay. Having a birthday party on sunday for DS though so everywhere needs a going over for then, will do it tomorrow or Sunday.

Went to the health spa on Teusday then got up Wednesday to find one of my beloved doggie really poorly. Still not sure whats wrong, been to vets today again and more injections and hopefully he'll get the all clear tomorrow when hes back. Think he's eaten something poisionous (sp) but hes sicked it up before its done damage to him - fingers crossed. Between him and DS and vaxxing the carpets I'm sure if I'm coming or going.

So what with party, day at farm park next week and huge vets bill - I'm now skint! Really thinking about taking a part time job if I can find one to suit childcare hours.

Right, better toddle off, might see you all next week Xx

    PS Tinsel fingers crossed!

  • Evening all,

Thanks for the messages. I have had a half day in work today before i started to feel ruff. Yesterday i went to a meeting for work in Bath, by the time i had driven back i was nearly in tears from the pain. Fortunately my Mum had come down for the day as i was getting my chimney swept and she looked after me. She even cleaned my house for me. :o:o (i hadnt done anything because of the sweep coming)

So this afternoon ive ordered loads of wine of the internet (tesco wine sale and free delivery and i split the order into 2 and got £10 off £50 and £15 off £50 on the other. £58.16 for 24 bottles (£2.42 a bottle) which is a bargain. (the rest of the wine to make it up was a friends!) And ive also spent £44 on some candles (60 of em!) which im going to decorate for Christmas. That should sort out a few people with some sets of 3 and 5 for the family and friends. Thats a thing off Pigpens list for the weekend!! (thanks for this and i love the nails!)

I hope everyones ok out there

tracy hope the pooch is better soon, with me only doing flying visits I'd noticed a few were missing but just pressumed they are busy.

aimee please be careful, shingles can be awful, thanks for that link, I forgot about child benefit which I have just done over the phone, I've done half of them already so haven't signed up for the notifying service but gave me a good list to work from for the rest. Must remember to sort TV licence too, they are on the ball aren't they, the day the sky install was confirmed we got a 'we've been informed there are people using a TV at this address without a licence' well tough because they haven't, not taking one over until Sky is installed and bringing it back that day until we move in.

Bath, ah now that sounds nice have been having dash in the showers most nights, wonder if I can combine the few things left to do, bath the boys, pack a bathroom box while they are in there & put them to bed, start running my bath and while it is running get a box packed, sounds like a plan...

Carrot cake looks yummy pigpen and the nails are excellent!!
Sorry you have had such a bad week Tracy, don't know if you read up but we had a mouse in the kitchen - not what you want with a LO crawling around!! A poorly doggy sounds a lot worse though - hope he gets better soon. I have copped out and we are having LO's 1st bday party a week on Tuesday at a play area - much less flying to do before and afterwards!!

I am going to try and bake him a cake though!

My weetabix brownies were yummy when warm - me, Oh & LO ate a load!! Haven't tried them cold yet as only just had tea.

Thanks for the weekend list will try and give it a go

Have a good evening / weekend flyladies! xx
  • Hope you have a snuggly evening with your real fire to keep the chill away aimee, take good care of yourself. I've known a couple of people at work get shingles and they tried doing too much too soon and it took a long time for them to recover fully.

So sorry to hear about your dog Tracy. Hope he's over the worst of it.
Hope the party goes well and your LO enjoys his day.

Hugs to those in need and congrats to ebay sellers.

lord what a day! It all stared with getting asked to do my first mystery shopper and taking ages to find out what it was only to discover I couldn't do it:mad: Then OH has packed in his job, no new one to go to either...Being poor is a state of mind. Poverty is a state and I refuse to mind. Then like buses I get offered 2 more mystery shops. So no flying for me today but since I can definitely feel the bottom of the pool the only way is up.:rotfl:

    Evening everyone,

minimal flying today, although I did whisk the vacuum around the ground floor - it was done earlier this week, but everything gets dragged in...Also washed DD's bedlinen, and will do the boys' tomorrow. School uniforms in at the minute.

Worked this morning, and thoroughly enjoyed being out in the sunshine. It was really warm!

Hospital this afternoon, Mum not much improved, so came home feeling a bit down. Just off to watch Gardeners' World, to cheer me up a bit.

(((Hugs)))) to russetred and ((((hugs)))) to aimeelister. I hope that you both feel better tomorrow! And (((hugs))) to grannybroon as well - just read your post and you sound like you could do with them!

Lil_me - I hope you're getting excited as well as exhausted - I am for you!! We're thinking of moving sometime, but have postponed looking for the moment, as can't cope with any more stress factors!
