Some advice needed please. DS is having some problems with another boy at school and I know some of you will have good advice as to what I should do. They've been in the same class since they started school and are in year 2. Today I went to pick DS up and he had one of the standard 'head injury' letters in his bag. This other child had rugby tackled him and DS had banged his head on a wall, he has quite a lump on his head. This isn't the first time the other boy has hurt him. The other boy is always getting into trouble for being naughty. The problem is my son says he doesn't like being hurt but does keep choosing to play with the boy. I've already told his teacher there's a problem between the two of them as there was last year. What do I do? Do I go in and complain again? Do I just put it down to an accident? I honestly don't think it's bullying but that this other child just takes things too far. Help, please! xxJanuary budget

I'd go in and say I wasn't happy and ask if they could supervise the two of them playing together a little closer.. or else face the wrath of the psychopathic mothers brigade!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Thanks pigpen....I think they're so sick of the sight of me they'll give them one on one supervision. I just wanted to know I wasn't being unreasonable not thinking it's normal for my son to come home with so many lumps and bumps. I'm helping out on Monday and will have a word with the teacher xxJanuary budget

LJD did the letter just say bump on head?As far as I know our school ask the kid how they got hurt and if there is any 'foul' play then the other child is asked to appologise so that they know it is not acceptable. Great you are going in on Monday as it gives such an insight into what is going on. I'd mention it then too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

russetred, sounds like it's been one heck of a day for you, some positives in the end of course. Hope your partner finds something else soon.
Put a wash load in (red uniform stuff for DS2) will hopefully get that outside to dry tomorrow as I got one dry outside today and forecast is the same, ish. Got the boys to bed etc.
**Confession time** I've been a lazy bum, I decided stuff it, DP won't be up until after mid day tomorrow so packed one box then thought sod this for a lark, I can pack more in the morning before he gets up, made myself a hot chocolate and plonked myself on the sofa with the Cadbury's WispaI bought myself earlier.
serena, thank you, so nice of you to think of us when you have so much on your mind, yes excited aswell as exhausted, when I am there I just don't want to come back here, but I know waiting so we can do things properly without mad rushing, aswell as the HUGE declutter we need, it is for the best. Then another motorbike comes over the fields behind us at 10pm and wakes the boys up and I think 'roll on 16 days time!'
LJD1 hope you get it sorted, when my DS1 was in mainstream there was a boy he clashed with from nursery (3 yrs) up until he left this year (8 yrs old), but for some reason they always ended up in the same place at the same time when on the yard etc. Love hate relationship maybe, they were always having violent run ins but never avoided each other. If you're in school Monday will give you a chance to chat with them, might also be worth being nosey and seeing if you can watch them at play time, as you said it might just be that one child takes it too far, see this happen loads in my sons school.
Just got email back from Vauxhall, seems the garage is after my money, they said timing belt on my car is due at 40000 miles (1000 miles time) Vauxhall Tech say 60000! Money grabbing xxxxxxx! Also managed to get the part I wanted for it off ebay, £37 instead of £279 from the dealersThere is also a message about the clutch issue with them, suggesting might be able to get it fixed free or discounted rate, will look into that tomorrow! Need of course to call where we got it from and book it in to get the rest of the work it was supposed to have done finished off.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi Pigpen,
Thanks for the list's this week. i've not managed too badly, my place seems more in order now but can you tell me arethe lists the same every week, or do the rooms change round or do we have different tasks within each room?
Sorry for the really stupid question but this hasbeen the prod I needed.
Thanks0 -
Haven't got anything done since I picked up DS from school at 2:30. I picked up a happy smiling boy and by 2 minutes down the road he was sobbing his heart out - his head and tummy hurt. He then tells me that he fell over at school so now I'm panicing about a head injury! Well I think hes got a bug, hes certainly miserable and grumbly. 2 doses of Calpol later hes asleep, but as he wouldnt let me 5 yards out of his sight, my plan to catch up on flying went out of the window:mad:
Will have to see if I can get anything done this weekend, but as we are at Dh's grandsons birthday BBQ its unlikely. Good job a new week starts every week and I can start again!
On a good point my ebay is up to £53.98 :T :T so all my listing was worthwhile, and that is only 3 items, another 24 to go!!!!!!
Have a good weekend everyone!! (and Im looking forward to moving rooms round next week:eek:  )

Wispa was fab
local shop (just a tiny village store) is on their second box today, yum yum yum!! I'm not a massive fan of Cadbury's I much prefer Green and Blacks but that Wispa took me back to being a kid again....wonder if my GC budget (and clothing size) will suffer if I pop to Costco and see if they have boxes of them :rotfl: suppose the answer to that one is DEFINATELY! 23 million they're going to make, so after mine and DPs there will be 22999998 left
liloandstitch, if the school were aware of a head injury they should have informed you, I would do as you have, keep an eye on him and see how he goes, if you get worried call NHS direct, hope he feels better by morning.
turra21, lists are similar, but not the same, pigpen's in charge at the mo so it's up to her how things go, she keeps throwing things in to keep people on their toes :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........
