Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I spent the morning doing ebay stuff and then I went out in the back to do an hours worth of gardening...which turned into 2 hours  I was black when I got in from rubbing my face :rotfl: Got washed and went to the post office to dispatch parcels and then collected DD from school. NO other housework (except 1 wash load) has been done all day...so I best shift my bottom. I've decided to have a mad hour at 4pm - I'm going to get as much done at level 1 as possible ;)

My brain & motivation is not upto extra missons or deep cleaning this week. It's taking me all my time to stay awake. So whats on my shortend list again?

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Put up linings or winter curtains to keep out those draughts. - Need to cut down the dowling I've bought first.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

  • Hugs to those feeling yucky and tired.

Tuesday is my worst day for flying so I'm glad I got most of the lounge done yesterday.
Will hoover the stairs shortly and put away wellies from our weekend walk.

    Also need to
check if clothes on airer are dry for ironing and then iron
    make lunches for tomorrow
    S&S the lounge
deal with letters home from school today
take DS to his woodcraft group, they are making bread tonight
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

I've finished for tonight. Going to try to concentrate on ebay stuff. I can't get the turbolister to work. Its downloaded, but I can't get the application to open. I may have to reboot. DH forwarded me the ebay half price listing day email, saying to sell stuff....might try to sell some of his stuff and see if he notices.
Managed to squeeze a small nap in as well, only about 40 mins, but its better than nothing.
Right, going to give the turbolister another go....

embb I think we can safely say what some see as nicely decorated and clean others don't. The decorating being the worst bit, they seem to think it's great, you can see the red behind the white/cream they have painted on the walls, they've painted over light switches and holes in walls instead of filling them first, where a room is blue half the skirting board is too, also said 'the carpets have just been cleaned' well I will post a pic of these cleaned carpets when I take one, see what you lot think. The yuk that came out of the one I did, it was disgusting. Like I say I think other peoples standards are different, I'd like it the way I want it before we move in. We've got time, well sort of, thankfully.

Right off out for racing, see you all later
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

Lil_me I hope your landlady will be grateful. We were once (very reluctant)landlords due to negative equity- we had to move (DH relocated and we couldn't fit 3 chidlren in one bedroomed flat- 2 wasn't too bad). We had a fantastic tenant who re-decorated (we payed for the paint) so it sold quite quickly when we could (eventually)afford to sell it . We hated the whole process so we very grateful to her.
